FlockSol combines idle progression with real-time survival as you light up darkness, defeat monsters, and harvest their essences to unlock and upgrade combat skills. You summon previously defeated enemies as allies to bolster your fighting force while working toward increasingly difficult nights. It appeals to players who want incremental progression tied to active combat rather than pure idle automation.

Thank you for the love you've shown our game so far! Here are some balance updates and fixes we've made according to player feedback: Decreased the amount of Light Essences required for summoning late-game souls Decreased the cost of the "Increase Dark Essence drops by +1 for each 5 souls present." upgrade to 30 Dark Essences. Decreased the cost increment of the "Increase Dark Essence drops for enemies killed inside player light by +1." upgrade to +40 Dark Essences. Decreased the initial cost of "Increase player and clone light duration by +1 second." upgrade to 30 Dark Essences. Fixed a display error where some upgrades didn't show the "Unavailable in demo" text when it should.

Demo Update #1

Hey everyone!First of all, we want to give a big thank you to all of you for playing the first version of our demo and the support and love we’ve received. We’ve received a lot of valuable feedback and it has been really pivotal in understanding the blind spots we had when developing the game. Since the release of the demo we’ve been working hard on improving aspects of the game based on your feedback! We hope you enjoy this update and the changes it brings! Here’s a list of changes made: Most notable change:Player Feedback: Dark Essences vanishing/resetting every night felt unnecessarily punishing and was not enjoyable for most players.Changes made:The resetting Dark Essence mechanic is now one of the unlockable Ascension Levels available in the full version. Dark Essences do not reset and will accumulate through runs in Normal mode and Demo. Also made one of the Dark Essence gain upgrades more easily accessible on the Upgrade Tree. Other changes:Player Feedback: Spending extended periods looking for a Light Essence that spawned near the edge feels frustrating and unfair. Changes made:Light Essences respawn timer now resets as soon as a light essence spawns; no longer on collection. The limit on the number of Light Essences that can appear on the map simultaneously has been raised from 1 to 3. Player Feedback: After death, having the “Summon a soul?” screen appear every time regardless of whether a new soul is affordable or not feels annoying and useless. Changes made:The soul summoning interface now only shows up when the player can afford to summon a new soul.A new UI element is added to the bottom of the Upgrade Tree showing the amount of Light Essences and Light Hearts needed to summon the next soul. QoL Updates:Players can now see the names and descriptions on the upgrades one skill tree node beyond the one that is unlockable.“Unlock new enemy” upgrades now show the currency the unlocked enemy will drop. The information box on the top left corner of the Upgrade...
