Sadly this is not fun. I've played 39 minutes and already had bought all the upgrades with only using bikes. The map was so full bike lines that i couldn't see where or what to do next.
This game doesn't have the right pacing for an idler or depth for an incremental game (I got all the unlocks in less than an hour). It doesn't really scratch the lo-fi transit itch of the Mini x games either. The logic for making routes and connecting them up makes little sense either.
It's good that it's cheap, but even then I can't really recommend it
Chill game, love the color palette. Liked that I can delete paths and place them somewhere else, and that the timing is more about enjoying the movement of transit and less about buying the whole skill tree. The most satisfying part is watching the little dots getting in and out of the trains, I could watch that all day.
Idle Ways launches on April 27!Since the demo, I’ve added a tutorial, planes, and boats, while also reworking and improving several of the systems and content already experienced in the demo. I’m excited to finally share the full game with all of you!
