Clicker Kids pairs straightforward idle mechanics—leveling heroes and unlocking upgrades—with surprisingly intricate optimization layers that reward active planning. The core appeal is watching exponential number growth and experimenting with upgrade paths to maximize offline gains, though the mandatory login requirement and AI-generated artwork have frustrated some players. Best suited for players who enjoy incremental progression games and don't mind frequent engagement to squeeze efficiency gains.

Simple idle game.. see numbers go up and get your dopamine. Nothing new to see here.
Leaving a negative review for the glaring login requirement to access saves. Yeah you read that right... an idle game that NEEDS you to login or lose your progress.
Worse steam SSO is not intergrated (despite launching on steam?!?).
I started playing this game from the web version / itch.io so I was excited to finally see it come on Steam. It's surprisingly addictive, I find myself spending more and more time trying to optimize things before I run errands so I can leave it running and come back to progress better. I think people are too harsh because of the AI art but once you get past that you can see that it's a really fun game. Give it a try :)
