New Opening Sequence, Morale Break 2.0, and Polish Localization

A New Cold Open I've replaced the opening sequence with something that gets to the point a little faster. The game now opens with a quarterly performance report from RAYND Corporation celebrating its 47th consecutive quarter of record growth. Workforce efficiency is up. Profits are up. Everything appears to be going exactly according to plan. The goal was to bring the mystery to the front of the game instead of asking players to wait for it. Morale Break 2.0 Morale Break started life as a small distraction you could play between work assignments. The old version was essentially a brick-breaker. The new version has wave progression, power-ups, special brick types, a Morale meter that pays out guaranteed rewards, and a three-strike performance review system that replaces the old full-score reset. As you spend more time in the company's mandatory wellness program, the cracks begin to show. There's now a hidden sense of progression running underneath the entire mode. The deeper you go, the harder the game becomes, the more unsettling the narrative gets, and the more valuable the rewards become. My hope is that Morale Break feels less like a quick diversion and more like something worth mastering. New Language Support Remain At Your Desk is now available in Polish. Thank you to everyone who's been playing the demo, sharing feedback, reporting bugs, and helping shape the game. A lot of the changes in this update came directly from watching people play and hearing where they wanted more depth.

REMAIN AT YOUR DESK Update + Programming Fest + Vietnamese Localization

Big week for REMAIN AT YOUR DESK. The game was officially accepted into Steam Programming Fest 2026 this September, alongside Cyberpunk Fest in August. Really excited to see the game connecting with both the cyberpunk crowd and the programming/systems-heavy audience at the same time. Also: Vietnamese localization has now been added to the game. Huge thank you to everyone continuing to send screenshots, bug reports, wording notes, and weird edge cases from different regions and monitor setups. A lot of this patch came directly from player feedback. Patch notes below: • Fixed bottom-row button labels getting clipped in German, Russian, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. Long translations like and now auto-scale correctly instead of wrapping into the button edge. Thanks again to the player who reported this from a 42" ultrawide setup. • Framerate is now capped at 60 FPS. The game was previously running uncapped, which caused some fanless laptops to thermal throttle while idle. • Fixed combo multiplier text overlapping streak labels on certain displays. The small multiplier readout (x2.6, etc.) could bleed into "NICE STREAK" / "ON FIRE" notifications during heavy combo chains. • Black Market: INSIDER TIP buffed. First 3 tasks of each day are now guaranteed criticals (previously 1). Cost remains 50 Intel. • CONDUIT pacing adjusted. Follow-up overlays now appear more often and begin slightly earlier in the progression chain. Also added a hard guard so CONDUIT never interrupts tutorial onboarding. • PRESTIGE multiplier in the top bar: Once you've prestiged at least once, the top-bar slot upgrades from LVL RANK to PRESTIGE ×N.N in bright green — so your accrued bonus is visible at a glance, not buried in the prestige panel. The bottom-right corporate roadmap badge keeps showing your rank (no duplication). Localized in all 12 languages. • Intel-earned audio cue: Banking intel from a hack now plays a subtle audio tick alongside the existing intel-counter scale punch and "+N INT...

REMAIN AT YOUR DESK Accepted into Steam Cyberpunk Fest 2026

REMAIN AT YOUR DESK has officially been accepted into Steam Cyberpunk Fest 2026. As a solo developer, this honestly means a lot to me. When I started building a game about surviving inside a surveillance-heavy megacorporation, I had no idea whether the blend of incremental systems, terminal hacking, corporate paranoia, and dystopian sci-fi would resonate with people. Seeing Steam recognize the game as part of Cyberpunk Fest is a huge milestone. Since the Steam page launched in April, the response has genuinely surprised me: • 1,500+ wishlists • 10/10 positive demo reviews • Coverage from outlets in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Brazil, and beyond For anyone new to the game: REMAIN AT YOUR DESK is a cyberpunk incremental hacking game about faking productivity by day while secretly stealing from your employer by night. Build scripts, automate your workflow, hack internal systems, manage suspicion, and survive inside a corporation that watches everything. The free demo is live now on Steam. Thank you to everyone who has wishlisted, played the demo, shared the game, or talked about it online so far. Cyberpunk Fest runs August 3–10, and I’m excited to keep improving the game leading into the event.
