Grimwatch: Mutation Protocol is a fun game with a great atmosphere, solid sound design, and engaging gameplay. The environments are well-designed, and the mutated enemies make every encounter feel exciting. While there are a few minor bugs and some animations could be smoother, the overall experience is enjoyable. It's definitely worth checking out if you enjoy action and survival games.
I had way more fun with this than I expected. Instead of just placing normal towers and waiting, you also get to grow weird mutant defenses that absolutely shred zombie waves in the most entertaining way. Seeing giant hordes disappear because of a crazy setup you made never gets old.
I liked that the game lets you use destroyed vehicles to change the battlefield and create your own choke points. Every round made me rethink my defenses since stronger zombies kept showing up, so it never felt like I could just use the same strategy forever.
It's easy to jump into, satisfying to experiment with, and has that "one more run" feeling. If you enjoy tower defense games with a fun zombie theme and some creative ideas, this is definitely worth checking out.
Grimwatch: Mutation Protocol is a super fun take on zombie tower defense. Blending standard firepower with living bio-weapons like carnivorous plants and mutant creatures keeps every run feeling fresh. Watching your organic defenses tear through massive undead hordes is ridiculously satisfying.
I really enjoyed using wrecked vehicles to block off paths and create chaotic choke points. Since enemy waves scale up quickly, the game forces you to adapt your strategy on the fly instead of using the same safe layout every time.
