Like any true idle game, it has a slower start, but ramps up once you start to get upgrades. The meta progression is clever, and I enjoy the forge mechanic for a chance for stronger items. The game is in active development and I am curious to see what is added in the future.

v0.1.5.7 Patch Notes New Feature: Card Packs Added a new Packs tab in the shop with four tiers: Low, Mid, High, and Special Opening a pack grants a temporary stat buff (Crit, Speed, Heal, Gold, DR) that lasts between 1-2 hours depending on tier Higher tier packs have a chance to spawn an elite unit that fights alongside your army Elite units from packs are on a 3-wave contract: they respawn at the start of each wave for 3 waves, then expire Special packs cost Ascension Coins and guarantee an elite unit with the strongest buffs The Packs tab is visible before your first ascension but locked until you ascend once Pack opening features a 3-phase animation: shake, split, and explode with tier-colored particles Leaderboard Improvements Highest Wave and High Score now display in their own separate bordered boxes Each section scrolls independently. Scrolling the Wave box no longer moves the Score list Entries are properly clipped to stay inside their section box and no longer bleed past headers Works on both Friends and Global tabs UI Polish Added a Buff column to the stat breakdown panel showing active temporary buff percentages Stat panel widened to fit the new column cleanly Unified UI colors across panels using a consistent theme (shop, stats, packs all match now) Consistent font sizing across all overlay panels Under the Hood Extracted shared stat bonus calculation into a helper function, removing 30+ duplicated lines across 7 spawn functions All unit base stats (HP, damage, size, speed, range, cooldown) now live in a single lookup table instead of scattered switch cases Adding or tuning a unit type only requires changing one row in the table Binary save format bumped to version 13 for pack contract data Minor build warning fixes
Patch 0.1.5.2 Card-Hand UI Overhaul New UI: Card-Hand Navigation The old hamburger dropdown menu has been replaced with a brand-new card-hand system at the bottom of the screen. All your actions are now displayed as fanned cards -just like holding a hand of cards in a roguelike. 7 action cards fanned across the bottom: Upgrade, Shop, Forge, Chest, Slots, Ranks, and Events Hover to lift -cards smoothly rise when you mouse over them Click to open -each card toggles its panel, click again to close Yellow star indicators -new/unvisited cards show a * in the corner until you click them for the first time Chest badge -the Chest card shows a red count badge when you have pending chests Greyed-out cards -locked features (like Slots before ascension) appear dimmed Wave progress strip -a small progress bar sits above the cards showing your run progress through rooms Redesigned Top HUD The top of the screen has been cleaned up into a single sleek bar. HP bar with label and numeric readout on the left XP bar with level display stacked below HP Wave number displayed large and centered Score shown below the wave number Speed indicator next to the wave text Gold and Ascension Coins with colored icons on the right Minimap moved just below the top bar for cleaner layout Quality of Life Upgrades no longer pause the game -buy upgrades while the battle rages on Removed old standalone chest icon and forge button -everything is accessed through the card hand now Cleaner overall layout with more screen space for gameplay
Chest Overhaul & Slot Machine Boost Chest System Rework Chests now stack up and display a red notification badge in the top right corner showing how many are waiting to be opened. Opening a chest launches a spinning wheel that cycles through items with smooth deceleration before landing on your prize. Colorful confetti bursts across the screen when the wheel stops. After the wheel lands you are presented with TAKE to add the item to your inventory or EXPEL to trade it for XP based on rarity. If your inventory is full you can click an existing item to sell it and make room. Bug Fixes Fixed a bug where the chest icon would permanently show 1 chest remaining even after opening. The counter now correctly decrements and the icon disappears when no chests are pending. Slot Machine: Boost System The Slot Machine now features a BOOST ODDS button that costs 5 additional ascension coins per spin. Activating it significantly increases your chances of rolling Captain Chomps and Stabby McSpear on the reels. Once a special unit is unlocked through the slots it is permanently removed from the reel pool so you never waste a roll on something you already have. When both units are unlocked the boost button is replaced with a completion message.
