I have really been enjoying this game so far. I am a fan of this type of idle experience as I can have it playing on my auxiliary monitor while I go about my day job. I work from home and predominantly what I do is write reports which demands a fair amount of concentration. I can have this game running in the background with the pleasant LoFi music which is calming, and occasionally glancing at it and seeing my avatar, working, reading, or sleeping is very cool. You can edit the room, have a pet, change decorations, etc. You also gather "amber" which is a currency that you can then use on upgrades. Awesome idle game and I highly recommend it. Also, the solo developer is very responsive on Reddit and seems like an amazing person. Let's support this project!
What's New This update makes the pace noticeably quicker — achievements are here, and Ember builds up faster. 47 achievements added From ones that unlock just by leaving the app running to ones that reward a long companionship — across rooms, music, avatars, and focus timers. They open little by little as you go about your usual day. When you unlock one, a quiet card slides in at the top and leaves on its own, so it never interrupts what you're doing. Achievements now reward Ember Earn 20–200 Ember depending on difficulty — the harder the achievement, the more you get. Ember builds up faster Base rate raised from 0.3 to 1.0 per minute, and 1.5 per minute while your avatar is working. A 100 Ember welcome bonus, too — already playing? What's New Ambient — see what's playing at a glance A new NOW MIXING chip on the ambient panel shows only the sounds currently playing, grouped by category, so you can turn them off or adjust them right away. A STOP ALL SOUNDS button at the bottom clears all layered sounds at once. When the ambient channel is off, the chip switches to MIX PAUSED, so you can tell at a glance that sound is stopped. Getting-started guide The first-run guide now explains mini mode: float tool panels on your desktop, use several at once, and place them anywhere by drag and drop. Added in natural translations for every supported language. Fixes In the notepad, the Enter key now always inserts a line break, instead of jumping to another action mid-typing. Fixed the getting-started guide closing too quickly by mistake.
