Chicken Miner

I don't know. I guess it's okay. Pretty grindy and repetitive. But , not terrible. Could use a little more tutorial, as there isn't much that explains the other sections of the game, like the gatcha section. The skill tree is semi-linear, always limited on what you can upgrade because you're locked behind the next material type. But, there's still a lot of choice that can affect how long that takes, so your decisions still feel like they matter.

However, I have one GIANT friggin gripe that almost made me close the game and never open it again. I am not sure what causes it, but when the screen gets busy (during hunting), something glitches the sound and it makes it sound like you're on a voice call with someone with a Dollar Tree mic that is sitting next to a high power commercial fan. It was not pleasant at all. *EDIT: After closing the game and continuing the game this did not happen again. I am not sure what it was, but I cannot reproduce this now*

I will say, even late game with a lot of things on screen, it did not seem to slow down or stutter, and it did get pretty satisfying.

This is a short and charming little game!

There isn't a whole lot of direction / tutorial (which isn't a dealbreaker for me, I like exploring on my own) but some kind of brief explanation on the gacha system at the very least would help new players out.

Overall I enjoyed it and feel it was worth the low cost.

First of all, decent game, it starts really slow then you get a certain mechanic that explodes your progress, there's no middle ground in between. I enjoyed my time but again, was just okay. It seems like more work could've been done before release and i'll explain why below.

This is more of a con list -

- BRIGHTNESS, this game is bright as hell and there's no sliders, eyes were hurting by the time I was done.

- The upgrades menu doesn't show any indication on whether you have the materials to upgrade or not without hovering over, really annoying.

- Music is super repetitive and on a short loop.

- Special tokens received during hunting should be displayed at end of match, I had no idea I even had any until far too late.

- Too much chaos on farm screen, especially when using the tokens to mine the special ore.

- I had no idea what my upgrades were doing half the time, I would unlock new chicks so fast I couldn't be bothered to go and see what they do.

Say all this to say, if the dev improves on some things it's a good game for where it's priced at but has it's downsides. Completed in around 3 hours with quite a bit of afk time in there doing other things.
