What an addictive incremental game where you play as a spaceship and destroy asteroids. Increasing your damage and attack speed with each run. There is also a fun Plinko machine you'll upgrade to get more rewards from the asteroids you have destroyed. No missable achievements and completion takes around 2,5h.

I had a lot of fun with Space Rock Breaker. I even kept playing for a bit longer, as I was pretty sad I finished it already. The later stages, when you're overpowered, feel so good!

You play as a spaceship that destroys asteroids. At first, your damage sucks and your fuel level even more, but the beauty of incremental games is that you'll upgrade those and will power through the first levels very soon. When you destroy an asteroid, you'll collect materials from it and let them go through a Plinko machine at your base. At first, this is a very boring Plinko machine, but soon, with lootboxes, you'll make it better and better, so that even the crappy scraps are worth a lot.

Every five levels, you'll fight a boss, which will give you material you can use on upgrades in the prestige menu. This will mean you start over, but you'll be so much stronger that within minutes you'll be back at your old level. And it even remembers the levels you have unlocked after using prestige in sets of 5 (so after each boss fight). In later prestige, it is also possible to keep artifacts and, lately, also your skill tree. Look what will come with the next prestige, so you can plan for it. It will go into effect directly.

I love incremental games that don't overstay their welcome, and this is one of those. Such a fun game to play between big games or during stressful periods of life. I would still have loved it even if the playtime had been double, but this is perfect as well.

I give Space Rock Breaker 4,5 out of 5 stars.

New Languages, Steamdeck Verification & Controller Support

Howdy After a few requests, I've added some new languages to the game. These languages are: Czech, Hungarian, Italian, Turkish, Romanian, Polish, Thai, Ukrainian, Chinese (Traditional) In addition to that, the game is also now Steamdeck Verified. If you played it on Steamdeck before this week, a few things have changed:Steamdeck now defaults to Controller as standard input, however you can change this back to mouse controls in the settings if you'd prefer. The game now supports the native Steamdeck resolution of 1280 x 800The game will run alot smoother than it did previouslyAfter fixing a few bugs, I've updated controller support from beta to full controller support. Thanks to anyone who had reported any controller bugs in the discussions! I've optimized the game a little more aswell, and will continue looking for any performance bottle necks. Finally, I've fixed some other bugs, most notable of which was an issue where sometimes achievements were not being awarded. Any achievements that for whatever reason are missed during a gameplay session, will be awarded the next time you start the game. Thanks again for playing! Cheers, Waka

Here's a small update that optimizes the game a lil bit. It should now run faster and use less memory. Additionally I fixed an issue where the resolution and display settings weren't being set properly. Cheers and thanks for playing!

Beta Controller Support + Settings

Howdy, I finally managed to finish adding controller support to the game, aswell as the option to control the ship with your keyboard (WASD and arrow keys). I've currently listed it as "Beta" controller support, but will update the games Steam page to "Full controller support" once I can be sure it is bug free. In addition to that, I've added a couple new settings:A toggle to unlock the mouse from the game windowA toggle to turn off screenshakeA slider to change the size of the in-run cursor so that it can be see more easily if necessaryCheers, and thanks for playing
