Tileburg combines tile-placement strategy with immediate combo rewards as you build and expand a city across a randomized grid. Each tile you place triggers direct effects and chains together with others to create powerful cascades, while you manage development and accumulate points. It's ideal for players who enjoy spatial puzzle-solving and satisfying chain reactions without requiring real-time pressure.
About this game
Tileburg is a game where each tile played has direct effects as well as powerful combos that trigger as soon as the conditions are met. Transform the landscape and develop your city while scoring points. Each turn, the city expands on a random tile!
Steam Neo Fest starts on June 15th, and Tileburg will be participating with its demo! Before the festival begins, I wanted to release another important update. Please note that the Hall of Fame overhaul requires a reset. A first champion is therefore chosen, and their name will be kept in the Hall of Fame.End of Kingdom Screen Overhaul- Points are displayed by score type- A graph shows the evolution of the game score per turn and compares it to your record score curveHall of Fame Overhaul- Added a button to only see your Steam friends in the list- Added score evolution graphs for each player. It is possible to view the graph for all players. The score type per turn for other players is not revealed to keep their strategies secretOptimization- Saving discovered combos, discovered tiles, etc., is more robust and optimized
Tileburg is a game which encourages players to experiment and discover the best combos and combinations. However, access to information should remain convenient. Today's changes reflect this:- Added 2 tabs to the deck view screen:DISCOVERED TILES: to see all tiles discovered and used at least once in a gameTERRAINS: to see... the different terrain types- Added a line to the tooltip of tiles which are the result of an evolution. The line indicates the tile of origin. Some players were surprised to find their discovered effects and combos reset by the previous update. I've revised the save and load code to make it more robust. Please report any issues. Releasing the demo allows me to refine the game and uncover some previously undetected problems, so all feedback is valuable! Thanks to everyone who has played, commented, left a review, or added the game to their Steam wishlist. The game has almost 1500 wishlists, thank you all!
Patch Notes:Please note that there are quite a few changes. If you encounter a new bug after the update, please report it. It's also possible that discovered combos will be reset; I will work to prevent this in the future if it happens.Player ControlI've updated the game to refine certain mechanics and give players more control over the flow of a match. While randomness still needs to be managed effectively, some elements felt TOO random. Here are the changes:The meteor crater now remains for 3 turns. During this time, the player can play on top of it, but the city CANNOT grow there.Drawing a second identical card is less frequent. The weighting for cards that would be duplicates in your hand if drawn is reduced to 50%.Using the volcano guarantees drawing a new, different card, if possible.CropsOptimized crops now count towards the "line of 3" calculation.Crops optimized by one mill can be used by a second mill for its own combo.MiscellaneousThe leaderboard now scrolls to the player. The sound power scale in the options menu has been revised for a wider range.
