🐾 Collie Companion Update!The game now has TRUE Desktop Mode!Previously, I was kind of cheating. The game would grab your desktop resolution, create a 220px-tall transparent window, and use that to give the illusion that your Collie was actually on your desktop.Getting true desktop mode working has actually been one of the more difficult changes I've made to Collie Companion. It's taken a lot of time, testing and head-scratching to get everything working properly, but I'm really happy with where it's ended up.No more pretending!You can now play with your Collie while still interacting with your entire desktop normally. No more needing to right-click along the bottom of the screen just to interact with things.With all that extra space, I've also scaled up and cleaned up most of the UI, making everything much easier to see and interact with.I've also added scaling and position offsets, so you can adjust your Collie to better suit your screen and setup.🐶 What's next for Collie Companion?I still plan on completely rebuilding the UI from scratch as I continue to get better at development. I've got a pretty solid idea of how I want everything to look and feel in the future, but it's a big job!My aim is to have the new UI ready around Christmas.And it won't just be a visual overhaul. I want to add more food, more toys, and more ways to interact with your Collie at the same time.And who knows...Maybe customization kennels and cosy little spaces for your Collie to call home are on the way too. 👀🏠🐾⚔️ Meanwhile...
