Lagrange Front Idle layers real-time space combat atop an incremental progression system where you build up from a handful of vessels to commanding thousands. Between active battles featuring orbital strikes and chain lightning effects, the game generates offline gains, letting your fleet expand even while you're away. It appeals to players who enjoy watching numbers grow while occasionally engaging with tactical combat moments.
About this game
Grow from a mere few ships to thousands of ships fighting in realtime and while you are away. Call down orbital strikes, rip through fleets with chained lightning, or watch from the comfort of your seat as your fleet expands and takes over the universe.

We are happy to announce our new game Lagrange Front Idle! This is our first foray into the Idle/Incremental genre. It blends our love for all things scifi and just wanting something really cool on our second screen. We really tried to concentrate on performance and minimal required resources. Using our internal hardware (aka my personal PC), we were able to have over 100,000 ships on screen simulating at 60 FPS with less than 20% CPU and 20% GPU usage. We did some exploration and research to try and capture the magic of these genres but we also wanted to throw our own twists on it and really try to make it unique. We brought our love of space and astronomy by seeding the real universe into our game (loosely) and adding in destructible celestial bodies and tracking of squashed sentient life.We also want this game to live beyond our development time. We have been investing in modability - we want to let people put in their own ships designs, create their own abilities, determine how AIs fight, and really just get the most out this game. We have some other experimental features we are fleshing out that we think can really elevate this game.On that note we don't want to create just a really cool second screen game - we want to give a scale based on player intent. At any time you can change the difficult without cost of achievements or progress - you can choose when you want to watch and when you want to be involved.Idle where the player can be hands off and just enjoy watching your faction take the Universe.Standard where the player might need to occasionally intervene to progress and upgrade.Hardcore is where we really enjoy the game, you have to take a more strategic approach balancing the sectors you take and actively help in the fight. You have to be the commander. As a commander, it is also important to keep your enemies on their toes. Channeling our FPS experience, we allow for text chat again the bots. Say something and watch them respond in chat... and maybe even...
