■ Card effects fully reworked- As announced, the effects on all 432 cards have been rewritten. This was not a pass over a handful of cards but a rewrite of every one of them.- The range of effects the game can express has grown considerably. Damage over time can now spread to other enemies, cards can grow stronger as the last ally standing, and values can scale with how many allies are alive or have fallen.- Also new: attacks that pierce through a target, effects that apply only to cards waiting on the bench, effects that go off once a mark reaches a threshold, effects that trigger only the first time, and effects that combine a condition with a chance.- Enemies affected by Chill now take 1.5x damage over time.- Cleaned up how activation limits are written in effect descriptions.■ In-game patch notes- A patch notes button has been added to the top right of the title screen. You can pick a version and read past updates without leaving the game.- It opens once automatically the first time you enter the Hub after an update.- The current version is shown at the bottom right of the title screen.■ Saves- Save files are now kept separately for each Steam account. Switching accounts on the same PC no longer touches the other account's progress.- The first time you launch after this update, your existing save is moved over to the account you are signed in as, and a copy is left behind in its original location.- If you use several Steam accounts on one PC, the first account you launch after the update takes the existing progress. The copy left in the original location lets you put it back.■ Improvements and fixes- Dungeon modifier multipliers are now reflected in the numbers shown on the cards.- When a floor reward in the dungeon comes out doubled, the game now tells you.- The tutorial window is larger and its body text now scrolls. Longer text no longer spills out of the box and covers the buttons.- The tutorial now explains where relics come from.- The XP book conversion an...
Hello, this is the developer of CARD COLLECTOR BATTLE.The update has been running late for a few days, so I wanted to explain what's going on.We're currently rewriting card effects across the entire roster. This isn't a tweak to one or two cards — it's a full rewrite, and it's taking longer than expected. Here's why we chose to delay. Right now, whichever card you pull, the effects often end up feeling much the same. So we're redesigning them so each card has a clear role, and so that how you build your deck actually changes how a battle plays out. We decided it was better for the game to finish this properly than to ship something rushed. The next update will bring a large-scale overhaul of card effects. Please bear with us a little longer. Thank you.
