Hello everyone! This update brings a new moment to share with your cat: a gentle break in the grooming room. A new companion and a few floral touches for their desktop home are also joining My Desktop Cat. A little grooming ritual, just for you and your catSee your companion up close in an illustrated room and follow the guided brush movements. Care for six areas, from their head to their little paws, with soft music and purring to keep you company. Grooming is available for your cats and meets their new grooming need. It counts towards the cat's overall happiness. Everyday, each area completed in the daily ritual earns 2 Paw Coins, for a total of 12 across all six. You can keep brushing afterwards just for fun. Grooming can also appear among your daily care missions, while your daily mini-game mission keeps its place. Your ritual progress is saved when you leave the room and return later. Meet the SiameseWith blue eyes, a cream coat and chocolate points, the Siamese joins the companions you can adopt. Preview their animations before welcoming them home, then enjoy their desktop activities and a visit to the grooming room. The Wisteria Porcelain collectionLilac flowers and ivory porcelain bring a soft new look to your cat's corner: The Wisteria Porcelain Cushion for cosy naps. The Wisteria Tassel for playtime together. The Wisteria Porcelain Bowls, available for 850 Paw Coins. The Wisteria Porcelain Perch for a spot above the floor. Find all four accessories together in the collection album. Hello everyone! Thank you for your reports. This small hotfix makes it clearer what is going on when your cat is worn out. Naps come first: when its energy is very low, your cat goes to sleep before anything else, even if you have just filled a bowl. That is intended: once rested, it happily goes back to eating and drinking. A bubble to explain: if you click a bowl at that moment, it still fills up, and a sleep bubble now appears right above your cat to show that it needs a nap first. No more fidgeting: your cat no longer starts kneading its cushion again on every click; its nap simply carries on. Other urgent needs too: if it is very thirsty when you fill the food bowl (or very hungry when you fill the water bowl), a bubble tells you and it takes care of that need first. Thank you for your patience and support.
Hello everyone! Thank you for all your feedback: this update comes straight from it. Here's what's new. 🍃 Lighter on your PC With the Atelier closed, the game uses about half as much CPU. The animated decor rests when nobody can see it: game paused, screen locked or a window opened over it. During a fullscreen game or video, your cat's needs are paused again. 💾 Safer saves "Quit" saves all your progress before closing the game. Switching Steam accounts no longer stops rewards and care from being saved. The "Start with Windows" option now goes through Steam, with your purchases and achievements. 🐱 Your cat With "Pumpkin Lantern Dance", it goes back to your perches instead of staying in the pumpkin bed, and the lanterns no longer cut its naps short. It no longer gets stuck in front of an unreachable bowl even if you place it out of his zone. Toy play counts more reliably for XP and missions. The XP it earns on its own doing random things is credited more reliably while the game runs. 🎃 Decors The wallpaper follows your cat when it changes screens, and your original Windows wallpaper is restored more reliably. A small note lets you know if Wallpaper Engine is running at the same time. ✨ Interface Treats now tell you when your cat is already content, and the Bond panel now says "Attachment" so it isn't confused with the affection need. The Menu displays better on small screens, and the first-steps guide no longer blocks the mouse. The notification menu is translated, and Halloween purchases get their little celebration. And also Two Steam achievements follow their description again, and box odds are more precise. A Windows clock running ahead no longer blocks your rewards. Thank you for your patience and support. We are doing our best to fix every bug you report as fast as possible
