It is the sequel to Boiling Point: Road to Hell.
That I can access in the year of our lord 2017.
Without going on a life-long treasure hunt across the world. Or use black magic.
Now I only need The Precursors to complete the holy trinity.
Edit: Jokes aside I think White Gold takes the gameplay concepts of Boiling Point and improves on them. The perk system is a nice addition and gunplay seems better as well (I find myself not dropping dead so often unless I have to kill 20+ bandits in an open area).
The game taking place in the Caribbean islands instead of inland Bolivia is a nice change in world design. Lots of water but also lots of ways to traverse through it: jet skis, boats, planes and helicopters just to name a few. And on top of all you don't have to go to Augusto to aquire the skills to maneuver them (but I guess it's canon at this point).
The unpolished nature of the game makes it entertaining for me because I enjoy this kind of stuff. But the core game is still alright. The writing has some funny stuff in there too. Just make sure to get an audio patch because the voice overs and sound effects don't work out of the box.
Can't wait to play Precursors (already bought it).
