"You are a brave warrior who came to this world to save its inhabitants.
Here you will be met by awful monsters, such as huge spiders, wolf-werewolves, bears, unicorns ...
The essence of the game, like any clicker, is to quickly press the button to the finish.
Features:
- Nice graphics in the style of "drawing paints"
- Random generation of levels
- Atmospheric soundtrack
- Steam achievements"
Well, there's something interesting in the short description the developers bring to our attention.
I didn't know that bears and unicorns were "awful monsters" (are bears monsters?), but the "wolf-werewolf" looks definitely something to investigate deeper..
I mean, will we meet a werewolf that stays always in a wolf form? Will we meet a wolf standing on two legs?
What's a wolf werewolf?
Ok.. we have Steam achievement and random generation of levels, we have also an "atmospheric soundtrack" if we're talking about the usual, monotonous, stupid ambient track made on some kind of PC/virtual keyboard and composed of as I said, some "ambient" music that after one minute vanishes and simply starts again..
At least, we don't have the opportunity to buy a 0,99$ OST made up by a single track like other games really have..
The settings screen here is very similar to a visual novel one - text speed, music volume and little else, full screen or windowed and no signs of something related to character customization, hotkeys or whatever else. Rather, we see save, load and back buttons that - again - point out more to a visual novel rather than a RPG.
But the game tags actually are nudity, adventure, casual, indie and clicker..
So we don't have to get fooled by the title and the graphics.. obviously this has nothing to do with fantasy, RPGs and so on.
"The essence of the game [...] is to quickly press the button to the finish" (sic).
Which is not that much inviting.. I mean.. I'd have written something more appealing..
Anyways, the story consists of three lines (literally) above an awful art style (really, look at the screenshots): in the style of I don't know what engine for making visual novels, we're gonna read that we have to save a princess by killing all the monsters inhabiting the land.
The game itself after these phrases is a clicker - we'll meet a spider, static, in the same bad/sloppy/crappy graphic style and it will have a health bar. It goes down by itself - the enemy doesn't attack or move at all - and all we have to do is keep on clicking in order to make the whole bar red and defeat the enemy.
We'll then be transported into other stupid lines like "now the enemy will be stronger and you'll have to click faster" - meaning, use an autoclicker or get surgery three times on your wrist and never be able anymore to use your right hand for your entire life, properly, like me.
The game will progress like this - there will be some slight changes in the backgrounds and the monsters, very limited indeed, and nothing else.
The levels will consist only on different monsters with more HP and thus, more clicking. The soundtrack is so bad that I had to hear it - as well as the awful victory music - just in order to write something useful.. but really, no.
I don't care about judging games by categories or such - I prefer to try them all and judge them with my personal experience, so I'm not "expecting" something from a clicker or whatever else.
It's just that this game is stupid.
There is literally only one thing to do - click on monsters to kill them. No equipment, no strategy, no magic, no experience, nothing.
The levels will just be enemies with more HP. And backgrounds and enemies will be just 4 or 5, and.. they look very badly drawn in my view.
So, this thing is just a clicker which can also become very annoying since some monsters will need lots of clicks in order to die. And there's no story, anything.
You don't even have to click on the enemy - static - you just have to click randomly wherever you want on the screen, and that's it.
So all in all, if you're looking for a casual game, a clicker, a RPG, whatever you want.. you won't find anything here but some poorly drawn backgrounds and "monsters" and tons of random clicks on the screen to do. Nothing else. Even if this costs just 0,99$/€ I really can't find anything funny or entertaining in clicking without a purpose on and on.
The achievements are simply related to beating a level, consisting of a single monster. After the 40th level, you will simply.. keep on going with the same monsters and the same cycle of backgrounds.
No, even if there are 40 achievements per 40 waves, the 40th level isn't the last one - you just go on.. and, being honest, after having clicked for some levels onwards I quitted since really, ok, I don't know if there's really a princess to help or not but the game gave me no clues on a finish line or whatever else, it just kept on going.. 41, 42, 43, same monsters, same crap.
Avoid at all costs.
