Downloaded this looking for a tycoon type game...

Let me be completely honest...this game IS pay-to-win. If you do not want to shuck out the money for diamonds, then you just aren't going to get anywhere. The wait times are insane! I cannot figure out exactly how you're supposed to make any profit in this game! I'm breeding the animals and they take 3-or more hours to pump out the babies and they sell for stupid low amounts of money!
Example:
Labradors.
Cost 400 dollars in the shop to buy an adult (you need 2).
Pen cost: 1200 dollars
Pet bowl to up breeding percentage is 1200 dollars
Nursery cost 4400 dollars
Then 200 dollars "fee" just to breed them
Equals a 7800 dollar investment...(you might also have to burn out some gems too here, not taken into account.)
*there are other additives to up 'breeding chances' because 2 animals in a pen might not make any puppies at all after a 3 hour wait. (Not likely, but okay...) Most of these cost you gems; like 'fertility feed' and other things in the pen that you need to expand it to fit. Each expansion is 1000 dollars, so keep that in mind.
Now it is important to know that;
You will NEVER make that money back that it takes to get the puppies rolling.
Each retriver puppy only sells for $178 and takes over an hour to make.
That's it.
No haggling.
No difference in prices.
You'd HAVE to sell 44 puppies to break even on what you spent !!
That doesn't even make good business sense!
Whoever owns this establishment would sell it off or go bankrupt.
ALL of the animals in this game are money sinks.
Ragdoll cats are even worse and they are more expensive with a high breed fail chance!
And NONE of this touches on how expensive the shop is for the other animals or how everything in the shop is locked behind real money and levels. Leveling becomes VERY difficult when you cannot afford to buy anything! How can you place new enclosures with animals in them if you cannot even break 20k?? Oh right....pay real money.
The game is tedious and time consuming and if you don't really care about the progression of it, or you are just into wasting amazing amounts of time, maybe you just have money to spend...? I don't know...but if none of those apply to you, then I would skip this game and find something else.
Sadly though...STEAM has slim pickins as far as shop simulators, tycoon games, or games with a flow like this that don't require you to pay-to-win.
/Sigh.... I'll keep looking. In the meantime, I hope this helps someone.
