Detective March Forward - The Missing Will

Frustrating yet enjoyable. There's plenty of opportunity for soft-locking yourself from completing the game, the hitboxes for items and photos are an absolute mess, and I swear that the damned 15-piece puzzle isn't checked to confirm it's solveable before giving it to you (not all 15p puzzles apparently are).

A lot of effort has gone into it, but I think a bit of polishing is still in order before I could give it a recommendation. Being able to soft lock yourself (example I never got the silver key before going upstairs) means I can't recommend it until that is resolved.

Constructive feedback
- Implement some sort of chapter save mechanic
- Make hitboxes more clear or perhaps implement some mouse glowing mechanic once you're hitting the hitbox
- confirm the 15 piece puzzles is solveable before giving it to player

Detective March Forward - The Missing Will is a browser/mobile/Flash tier point and click adventure/hidden object style game. Like an Artifex Mundi HOG, but really lame.

It's sincerely made, I guess, but a highly lacklustre attempt. I couldn't find this on the app stores, presumably Google and Apple rejected it. It's a little buggy, locked resolution... this might as well be done in a web browser, and as such has no deep interest for gamers.

I gave up trying to place the gold leaves at the end. Needs wider room for error.
