Ever Seen A Cat is another Hidden Object Game with, as the name suggests, cats and is available in a bundle with the second part for little money.
I wouldn't call the game particularly difficult, since you only need about one to three minutes for each picture. But there are at least nine different scenarios and currently a Halloween special.
The picture can be moved in all directions in zoom mode as usual with a left click and hold and if you should not find a cat, the game offers help. However, this is only available after a certain amount of time.
The pictures and the cats are lovingly drawn and, as usual, the cats found are highlighted in color. Each image has its own background color, which can be changed at any time via the menu (gear symbol at the top right of the screen or the ESC key).
I really liked the game's menu for this type of game, because in addition to the already mentioned background color change, you can also adjust the vibrance there.
Apart from that there is the option to play the game not only in full screen but also in windowed mode (90-70%) and to hide the hints and the counter.
Of course, the music and effect volume, the drag speed / drag resist, as well as the view and zoom speed can also be adjusted. An additional option for the mouse wheel zoom is also available.
The game has a total of 22 achievements that all work flawlessly. However, you have to play the game several times for most achievements, otherwise you won't get the required number of cats to be found. Personally, I didn't find the second round "bad" because there is also a timer for each picture with your own best time, which you can beat. Possibly a small incentive for one or the other.
To be honest, apart from the second round, I found it annoying to have to continue playing the game to get the achievement.
All in all a nice hidden object game that is not too difficult but definitely offers enough content for the price and can keep you busy for some time.
