I've spent some time in this application and I liked the idea of it until I check my task manager and thought, WHY IN THE ABSOLUTE ♥♥♥♥ IS THIS TAKING UP 50% OF MY GPU!!!???? so I checked the other negative reviews and I found out I am not alone and I suspect its possible malware or bitcoin mining, so for the love of God, DO NOT DOWNLOAD IT!!!
as far as I can tell, this is NOT a Crypto miner. The issue is that when you go to the Graphics setting "Medium" or above, it uncaps your framerate, which means that it'll still render all those 100s of frames, regardless of whether or not your monitor can show all of them or not.
this is why reviews of people with 3000 series cards are saying it's using 70-80% of their GPUs - they're probably rendering over 1000fps.
this, combined with the fact that it's a UNITY game doesn't end well for performance.
still think the gameplay could use a lot of work though. I wish I could rotate around the room, and I wish there was more things to do than sit around and wait with the game open. until there's something to do, I can't say I recommend the game, although I do appreciate the vibe.
