I played for the first 10 waves (which took around 5 minutes?) and I think I managed to get 300-400 total gold. However, an achievement for killing 10 waves rewards you with 8000 gold with you can claim, seems slightly imbalanced.
Overlord : Nobody know victory better than me

Media
An idle war game where you accumulate gold and resources to conquer successive waves of enemies using swords and magic. You unlock upgrades to increase your earning rate and progress automatically between sessions, though players report balancing issues and technical sluggishness. Best suited for those who enjoy minimal-interaction number growth games, though the progression loop is fairly basic.

The ascension method in the game does not work it just teleports you back a level which is the main reason I'm not recommending it unlike Idle Raid. I will say this is a bit better than their idle raid title they just released for the sheer fact that it can auto progress without you clicking something actively or paying money for auto progression. The game is amazingly slow and if your main DPS die in the battle vs the boss you'll be stuck fighting him forever so you have to close the game and reopen and hope your big hitters live long enough to smack the boss. The fact your army has to find a new wave REALLY slows down the pace of the game. I do really like that the units cosmetics improve as you level them up and some of them start looking pretty cool. More information that I may have forgot included in the video
If this sounds completely mindless, you're not wrong.
This isn't free. The game is infested with nasty mobile app microtransaction/P2W monetisation as the developers try to gouge/scam PC gamers in the same way they gouge mobile gamers. This isn't acceptable on PC.
Mobile devs must learn PC gamers are not here to be gouged or scammed, and we don't buy expensive gaming rigs just to pretend that they're iPhones.
