Been following the game since it was announced (big fan of Ravenous Devils, which clearly this games draws inspiration from, but it comes as no surprise as the devs openly told). This game is not for everyone: the story is dark, the setting is grim and the gore/torture sequences gave me the chills, BUT...if you're into these kind of things, there's a real treasure trove here for you. Other reviews complain about it being "repetitive". Yeah, it is exactly the point in sim/management games. It's a clicker game with no big surprises or innovations, it's exactly what you expect from this kind of games and the price/quality is just right. If you liked Ravenous Devils and similar games and you're into creepy/dark stuff, make no mistake and play this game!

Game so boring that the only thing Kindeman is curing is my insomnia. Ravenous Devils is far better.

Honestly, a good idea with potential which is severely squandered here. "The Kindeman Remedy" is inferior to "Ravenous Devils" in every possible way.. These two games cannot be mentioned without each other as they are both thematically and developmentally linked. "Troglobytes Games" ported Ravenous Devils to consoles and in the process learned a little bit and tried emulating/copying that game. Kindeman Remedy might be called a spiritual successor but lacks the charm and quality of Ravenous Devils. Ravenous Devils by "Bad Vice Games" was both gruesome and macabre, but in a fun way. After all, it was inspired by Sweeney Todd. That game was 5 hour short but already felt repetitive towards the end. - Kindeman Remedy takes twice as long and becomes repetitive very early on! The animations and walking are very slow, map movement gets annoying and the gameplay is deeply flawed. You get way too much concoction and it collects dust, meaning there is no need for corpses and kills become irrelevant! It was nice to dump some in Percy to get some fun dialogue but that option runs out fast. Night thankfully can be skipped, but day cannot and you have to sit through 40+ days of gameplay when the game automatically ends. I couldn't even try out half the torture chamber equipment due to the abrupt conclusion. A lot of useless dragging for nothing but the true value of the game is undercut? wtf? Voice acting would have been appreciated. The story would have been better if it tried something new instead of copying the usual stereotypes. It's like the game was only made to make a quick buck, not to make entertainment or art. Worst type of game, even worse when it is done so incompetently.. The only good thing about this game is the price. Troglobyte? More like troglodyte. Honestly, skip it.
