Alright.
Watch Your Plastic Duck is this devs version of
Placid Plastic Duck Simulator, but without the polish of the latter. Although, in some ways, this lofi approach does suit the premise better. Obviously it's not going to reach the standard set by PPDS, but it does do PPDS-like well (and is tmk the first PPDS-like out there).

I'm going to keep this review brief, so let's dive in:
Some things I enjoy with WYPD include the static camera and the duck models. I like being able to name my ducks and to adorn them using the easel. The actual pool party does look like a fun place to hang out. And there is more interactivity with his game, inasmuch as you can grab pumpkins and presents, and then use them to knock (propel) your ducks around the pool so they can create some ducking chaos.

How the duck are they creating chaos? Well, there are two additional modes that can be enacted or disabled at any moment. One is an RPG mode that gives your ducks levels and RPG stats, which do actually level up and affect combat. Combat? Yes, that is the other mode you can engage if you have RPG mode engaged. When a duck gets near another duck, they'll attack each other, and some of the cheevos assume that at least one of your ducks is a serial killer, lol. Ducks have HP. And, if you use the objects to sling the ducks around the pool, they cause more damage and generally create some lively ducking chaos.
Additionally, some ducks have special abilities such as breathing fire. Or have kind of a presumed backstory, such as the prehistoric duck. And there are special events that happen in game as well, which is always nice.

I think this is a pretty funny and cool ducking experience that you can idle the duck out of or engage with more directly. During the current Halloween sale (at the time of this writing), the game is 89 cents. That is 89 cents ducking well spent.
