Aquasim offers a living desktop aquarium where you cultivate and breed aquatic creatures that evolve organically over time. Rather than active gameplay, the appeal lies in observing your ecosystem develop passively while the simulation runs in the background, making it ideal for players seeking a meditative, low-pressure experience that complements everyday computing.

I played almost an hour but unfortunately I just wasn't interested in playing more, the controls felt bad, the art is inconsistent and the gameplay just isn't that fun, for me. I'm sure others will really enjoy this, but I didn't get much out of it in my time playing it, and don't really feel the need to play more.
Overall this feels more like a free browser game, less like something you should pay for.
