Iron Guard is a compact pixel art tower defense game where you outfit defensive positions with steampunk-style weapons and manage ammunition supplies to hold back waves of monsters and goblins. Each weapon type covers different firing arcs, adding tactical variety to placement decisions. Best suited for players seeking minimalist tower defense mechanics rather than narrative-driven strategy.

Nope. Mind numbingly boring. The assets are nice looking, a bit of a steam punk feel tot he weapons, the foes are mostly monsters, goblins and such. There is a small array of weapons, each with a slight different field of fire, which I thought could be interesting, and the game has the unusual mechanic of having to provide ammo for your guns, but the game itself simply has no flavor, and is uninteresting beyond measure. Three thumbs down, not at any price. Even free would be too much.
Several of the game's major issues have been fixed, including: All pixel distortion should now be gone All sound effects will now be muted when choosing to mute sound effects Tesla Coils will not travel in the wrong direction if upgrading them causes them to collide with a path or obstacle
