Unfortunately, while it looks similar to Mindustry or Factorio at first, the shallow trees, exponentially-increasing costs for each copy of the same building (like mining drill), and near total automation of supply chains and technology (buildings require just one input and produce one output, main storage is basically infinite, and inputs can typically teleport from storage to building) make it more like an idle clicker... except that you can't -quite- go idle due to enemies, so it's actually the strategic depth of an idle clicker paired with the relaxation of facing a zombie horde unarmed.
Spaceflight Factory : Prologue
by Kanapper
Media
Spaceflight Factory: Prologue layers automation and base-building onto an idle foundation, tasking you with expanding a colony on a mobile island-platform to gather resources for escape. While it borrows the visual style of Factorio-like games, it leans heavily into passive progression and exponential costs, making it feel more like an idle clicker with factory trappings than a traditional automation puzzle. Best suited for players comfortable with spreadsheet-style growth who don't mind extended idle periods between meaningful decisions.

They do so for a reason.
