Nice game, wrong title. So, here's what this game really is like. You automatically roll dice, you make money, you buy more dice, etc. - BUT this is not the aim of the game. The actual game is about unlocking a deck of cards, one card at a time. You do that by levelling up dice - BUT this is not how you do it. The real way to unlock cards soon becomes playing roulette - BUT you have to play it actively, with no automation at all, and each turn of the wheel is godawfully slow. But, of course, this is not what the game is about. Turns out that the game is about unlocking a specific card that automatically gives you more opportunities to turn the wheel. So you soon have more opportunities than you can use - BUT that rapidly becomes almost useless, because the real game is completing MANY decks of cards. However, the more decks you complete, the harder the games handicaps your combos. BUT apparently this is not it either, because you are supposed to unlock a new mechanic sometimes after the universe has reached heat death, and I feel safe to bet that even then you'll have to do something else. Did you note how the "idle" part of the game has disappeared waaaay before all of this? It was more or less when the dice lost their importance in the game loop. Add to it all one of the worst user interfaces ever, seemingly designed to actively keep important parts of the game hidden and forcing you to scroll like a madman, and you can see the point of my review.

What players are saying
I've played a lot of idle games, and a lot of them don't really nail the pacing. This developer gets it. New content and game mechanics are revealed at a decent pace, stuff gets gradually more automated as you go, upgrades are satisfying, and there are multiple layers of progression. You're rewarded with faster progress for using your brain (deck building, order of cards picked/gilded), but it's not so complicated that you'll feel compelled to look up a guide. The sound gets a bit obnoxious, but you can just turn it off and play the game on the side while watching a stream/video.
While the game is OK, the original idle dice is just soo much better. It's much easier to look at and i actually feel i'm actually making progress in the original
