Let's Pet Pets is a clicker game where you accumulate Pet Points and Heart Points by petting animals, using currency to unlock helping hands, items, and new eggs. The game features a prestige system that resets your tools and inventory while granting permanent upgrades and new pets. It's designed as a low-stress, collection-focused idle game for players seeking a calming alternative to traditional incremental mechanics.

A cat hatched from an egg and a real life cat visited our apartment shortly after. This game is clearly magical.

Warning: Asset Flip!
Let's Pet Pets is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Synty Unity Asset Store packs, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.

What happened here is that Synty assets were lazily dumped onto a Unity clicker/incrementer template. The sole difference here, the one single contribution the "developer" made, was to switch the clicking to swiping your mouse around to pretent to "pet" the Synty asset the developer stole, instead of "clicking" on it. That's it. That's all there is. Do you know how hard it is to change "clicking" to "swiping"? Less than 2 minutes of game development effort. This guy wants your money for this. I guess he needs it to pay for all the fake reviews he bought from the usual Russian fake review farm accounts. Yeah, this asset flip is riddled with fake reviews. It's a scam.

Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware.

It has no value or merit as a real game.

You still want to take this asset flip seriously? "Let's Pet Pets" isn't really a proper game, it's just a lazy "number incrementer" game where the object of the game is to increase the in-game currency by clicking, and sometimes buying things that increase the rate at which your currency/score goes up. It's an incredibly shallow game loop, to the point you might as well just run a program that does "i=i+1; print i" and watch the numbers go up automatically, and just watch it. You'd get the exact same outcome. If this sounds completely mindless, you're not wrong.

The poor quality of this asset flip is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 12 players, and the worst part is these weren't genuine players, these were the Russian fake review accounts that the developer paid to make the fake reviews. Since the fake reviews are all done, now the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected.

Let's Pet Pets has the almost scam-like price of around $5 USD, it's not worth it given the defects and shortcomings with the product, especially considering the unethical nature of the developer. For comparison, the $5 asking price for this game could get you games like "Hellblade: Sensua's Sacrifice", "Mass Effect" or "Borderlands 2". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this.

Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear at almost exactly the same time, very shortly after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this blatant, unethical review manipulation. This is done to deceive and scam gamers into paying for a bad product.

Profile Features Limited!
Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.

Let's Pet Pets is a completely talking title!)

Fully unconventional way to look at the mechanics of the same old clickers. What about gacha time killer but for free. A kind of Fruit Ninja, but you don't have to cut anyone, just pet your favorite animals! Does this gameplay calms you down? Absolutely, yes! And now let's look at a couple of points.

STORY/LORE
Unfortunately there isn't one here, not even a native narration through the balls of animals for example or descriptions of some items. Sadly, I would like to see in every game at least some attempt to explain to the player why this is the way things are. WHY DID THE COW SIT IN THE EGG?!) *mb will appear later after early access*

GAMEPLAY
Maximum friendly for all ages, no need to frantically zap your mouse to death anymore, pet the animals and just have fun with them. The game is just so easy to get into and have a little, you know, what someone might miss, just pet the animals. Dont even tell me u not vibe to bonus time!

STYLE(GRAPHIC/SOUND DESIGN)
The main menu is frustrating until you get into the game itself. Inside you will find a nice lowpoly style, colorful interface elements, not all of which fit into the whole picture, but also do not cause obvious disgust. In the future, I think we need to finalize the main menu, it's almost a cover of the game. GTX 1070 has a very high performance until you get the "pet bonus time" for a few times, for some reason its steal fps's.

PROBLEMS
On the whole I could not find any.

In conclusion we have an interesting game for relaxation. No nerves just Pet Pets :D
