This game is weird. Why do 2 year olds just look like miniature adults? I didn't mind it with the males but with the females they have breasts and it makes no sense and is really freaking weird. Besides that all the male children my couple had all look exactly the same even though they had them at different times. The names are weird too. "Master", "Loot" and "Tiny". Money takes too long to obtain in this game but they let you buy it with real money. So I think they make it slow and hard to get money on purpose so you will get impatient and just buy it. Another weird thing is if I stop playing the game for a few hours and come back to check on it the little people send me a email asking where I was and that they thought I had abandoned them. That kind of neediness is annoying and unnecessary in a game like this. I experienced a few bugs too but can't be bothered to report them because I don't think I will be playing this anymore.

About this game
The sequel to the smash hit mobile game “Virtual Families 2” is here!
What players are saying
Super nostalgic. Super poorly made, lmao. The family members last like a day and then turn old and die if you don't pause the game before you quit. The children are just shrunken adults, the names are ridiculous, and not even charmingly so for the most part. And don't get me started on those janky-ass character animations. The games in this series would have potential to be more beloved if some quality of life and aesthetic changes were made. 1/5 for nostalgia. Just because your game is free doesn't mean it has to suck.
So I was originally introduced to Virtual Families from its sequel game on mobile devices. I never got to fully upgrade the house because as you can tell there is really no way to get there through gameplay (from what I've always noticed). Now they released Virtual Families 3 and added it onto PC. The best thing about this is, I thought maybe skipping time would work. For sure, time skipping is the best way to get all the house upgrades. Basically, skip 1 day for each new person you get, and make sure you choose the highest amount of money they have in their bank which is usually $370-$380. After this, you can make the decision if you want to get them married to a husband or wife, and you can try to get someone that has a bank with $300-$700. Keep skipping time day by day and upgrading things to its max upgrade. Also, the farthest you can go with skipping time like this is probably 2 months (so currently it is June, you can go up to August). What I'll do is, I'll skip ahead to July 31st and then start fresh from my current time and repeat the process over. It's probably gonna take hours to get up to $100K+ or however much it is for all max upgrades. + EDIT 6.30.23: Wanted to edit and add on to this before I forget.. Basically, to get all them upgrades it could take around 6-10 hours of time skipping. It's all dependent on the speed you go, what you decide to buy, etc etc. If you're upgrading everything to its max upgrade like I did, it should take you around that estimated time. Also, I wanted to add that I didn't go ahead and upgrade the resort. There's no point in doing so in my opinion since that area of the game is ridden with microtransactions that are more expensive than the original house area. I forget what upgrades and micro's that area contains, but that is what ultimately made me think "it's not worth it" to time skip and try to fully upgrade that area as well. FFS, you can't even buy a maid for the resort area unless you're willing to fork over 4 DOLLARS for a pixelated maid that stops doing her job within a couple hours (unless I'm mistaken). Anyway, I hope this review helps anybody that plays this game or even any of those that had Virtual families 2 as their childhood app store game. :)
