Don't be deceived by the title of the name neither the "meme" factor the screenshots may give, this game gives you a realistic point of view of the listlessness that countless of office workers in Japan suffer from right now. Going out after work to eat some ramen at some place and burn time as you endlessly try to make your meal time as long as possible for the sake of delaying you coming back home to the wife that doesn't love you anymore in this loveless marriage as you slowly take in the environment of the place you ended up eating ramen at. Hear as the audio of the game immerses you in the atmosphere of an average "izakaya" as you hear people ordering food/alcohol around you and as the employees of the place take orders and in the midst of this is you, the player, listlessly playing with the remaining oil in your ramen bowl as you wonder exactly what went wrong in your life that you have resorted to playing with oil as your time burner. Your money all gone from all the times you burnt it in pachinkos so that became a no-go and now as you wait for the last train home time you cannot help but keep thinking that it cannot go on like this to only come back to the same place and start playing with the oil again.

What players are saying
I really enjoy this simplistic yet immersive ramen oil pecking experience! The background noise of customers and employees talking and shuffling their dinnerware plus the occasional passing shadow of a person you'll never meet provide an atmosphere of a passive solitude in an otherwise bustling social space. Whether that solitude is peaceful and relaxing or lonely and sorrowful depends entirely on the player, who has nothing more to do than sit and think as they pass the time shifting oil across the surface of their leftover broth. The achievements are simple and gained through the natural process of pecking your oil. They highlight that even though you aren't doing something considered "productive," there is still great personal value in moments like these. That you took the time to think and be present in the moment is more than enough to make this time worth it. Your value is not dependent on what you do at the office or what you'll do when you get home. We cannot spend all our time working or sleeping, there must be moments in between- moments such as these. In a world where games are expected to bring their own thoughts to the player, telling massive narratives and provocative theorems, this game lets the player bring their own thoughts to it. I find it refreshing, like a long shower after work or the much needed alone time after a weekend-long convention. To a novel, this game is a notepad. Waiting for you to make of it what you will.
Just a game where you can make a penis out of oil circles. Pretty relaxing, but gets boring after 30 minutes
