Coin Smith is a clicker game set in an ancient coin-minting theme where you tap to generate currency and purchase upgrades. The core loop mirrors traditional idle games with prestige-style progression, though players report the current release lacks depth and features beyond basic clicking mechanics. It's suitable only for those seeking the most minimal clicker experience.

Absolutely barebones Cookie Clicker skin lacking even the most basic features. The dev claims to intend on going their own way and developing this game to stand on its own merits at some point in the future, yet is very unclear about any planned road map or features to come and that is what Early Access would be for. This however is a fully released game and thus gets judged as such.

P.s. After people asking for an entire day about the prestige system advertised on the store page the developer finally admitted that it is not in the game right now. This is fraud.

I checked this out very deep by using "tools".

There is nothing to this game, at all. It is a rip off of the main page of Cookie Clicker and nothing else. This is what you get when you use a very bad AI and tell it to create a Cookie Clicker clone, but it cannot figure out there are more pages and tabs than the one you load into.

Absolutely awful. Steam should remove this garbage.

-500/5 - Shouldn't have used ChatGPT 0.1a early alpha with a 1060 and 10 million parameter LLM. Would report again.

P.S. Some of the achievements are unachievable as well. For instance, to get the 500 Anvils Achievement at a good rate (very late game a good rate is about 2.0Qa, and upgrading it is very very slow), it would take well over 20 BILLION YEARS to reach that achievement.

Coin Smith 2026 Update: The Forge, Rebuilt

Coin Smith is an idle clicker that starts with a hammer and a single coin, and ends somewhere past the stars. It came out in March 2025, and since then we have been reading every review. A lot of them were saying the same thing in different words: the talent tree runs out, prestige doesn't feel like it pays off, and it's hard to tell what you are actually earning. We set out to fix that, and then we couldn't stop. By the time we came to our senses, almost nothing in the game was left untouched: the art, the world, the interface, the coin, the economy. It's still Coin Smith. It just finally looks like the game we had in our heads. A whole new look Everything has been redrawn from scratch and scales in whole steps, so the pixels stay sharp at any resolution, ultrawide included. Each of the fourteen buildings now has its own spot in the world and grows through four stages, from a ruin that was all the budget allowed to a Masterwork. The interface is carved walnut and riveted copper now, and the coin sits right in the middle of the screen, where it always belonged. Strike while the iron is hot The click streak is gone. In its place, a forge. Keep a rhythm and it heats up, through five levels: every level pays more per hit and lands more critical strikes, and from the third one the coin catches fire. Stop, and it cools down. As you get richer, the coin keeps up, from bronze to electrum, gold, celestial and finally ethereal. The sky isn't the limit. It's upstairs. The world is three layers tall now. It starts on the ground, then opens up into the Cosmos, and then into whatever comes after the Cosmos, and the camera follows you up. Villagers stroll across the bridge, the caravan keeps rolling, the river actually flows, and every building sends its gold back to the coin. Friends drop by Every now and then a familiar name wanders across the bridge. Friends who play Coin Smith turn up with a hammer, and the one with the most achievements wears the crown. Say hello and they'll...

🔧 Hotfix – Prestige Skin & Buff Fixes

We've fixed two issues related to prestige progression: Skins now correctly cycle based on your prestige level, preventing errors at higher levels. Prestige buffs were unintentionally stacking multiple times, causing inflated income. This has been corrected. Thanks for your feedback and reports! 🛠️
