Cultivate a low-stress garden where seeds naturally mutate into new flower species over time. The core draw is collecting all 100+ varieties by observing which genetic combinations emerge, making it ideal for players seeking a meditative experience without pressure or complex systems.

I just uploaded a build (v0.31d) which adds the following new features to the Stop and Smell the Flowers demo:WateringWater EnhancementsPulling weedsBee BenefitsMy hope is that this change will provide a more engaging experience for those who want to play actively, while also giving an extra benefit to idle playstyles.WateringHappens when you click on a growing flower in the garden that is currently dry. Watering happens by default when first planting seeds, and can be done again at each growth stage prior to harvest-ready maturity. Each time you water your flower during it growth lifespan, the grow speed increases. You can also pair watering with water enhancements for extra bonuses, giving you up to three water enhancements per flower. Watering is optional, only providing the speed boost and possible water enhancement when performed. Skipping watering has a benefit of reducing the likelihood of disturbing the bees, and getting a boost from them.Water EnhancementsWater enhancements are available for purchase in the Shop, are visible in your inventory, and accessible from the bottom of the garden, next to your seeds. You can select an active water enhancement or re-select to disable it. All watering that happens while a water enhancement is active will use one up.The water enhancements available are:Speed Grow (increases growth speed) - $10Mutation Up (increases mutation probability) - $20Mutation Stop (prevents mutation regardless of other boosts) - $5Bee Attractor (increases number of bees that will visit your garden while the flower is growing) - $5All the water enhancements are unlocked from the beginning of the game.Pulling WeedsHappens when you click a dandelion weed at any growth stage besides fully grown. Pulled weeds do not go to your inventory, they are destroyed. This can be helpful if you are eager to plant the next thing where a weed sprouted, although then you won't have a dandelion to sell.Bee BenefitsWhen bees visit your flowers and are undisturbed b...
Demo-Locked Garden PlotsI added a limit on which plots are purchasable in the demo. The most expensive plot in the demo now is $19,494. This will not affect old saves, only new saves moving forward. The locked plots are automatically unlocked in the full game version. This will prevent players from grinding excessively past completing the demo collection, to maintain the spirit of the game.Inventory Action ButtonsI also made the "harvest seeds" and "sell" buttons in the Inventory scene more apparent by filling in the background color when a flower is picked up, not just when the button is hovered. The purpose of this is to make it more obvious that harvesting seeds is an option in the Inventory, since it has been missed by quite a few players.
Hey all!I have decided to remove the achievements: Grow 5,000 Total Flowers,Unlock Every Garden Plot, and Earn $500,000from the demo. The achievements will still be in your game data if you met them, and will register in the full game achievements as completed.I decided to remove them because, although they are technically reachable, they are a grind to get with the limited flowers to collect in the demo and makes the demo feel less relaxing and more like work.I am also going to be locking the ability to buy some of the garden plots in the demo in the next version update (v0.27d), although they will remain unlocked if already purchased in your save.I greatly appreciate all those who did feel compelled to strive for those achievements, and that made this decision very difficult for me to make. Opening the full game will call every achievement you finished in the demo and return them to you, so they are not lost forever.
