I still cannot recommend this game. I played a few more levels and I will admit the zoom button has been increased and is much better than before. But the hints are audio clues of a cat mewing to let you know somewhere in the general area your missing a cat.

This would be okay if the area was not 30-40 separate artworks scattered about on a field instead of one cohesive scene. With the scenes so dis-jointed the mewing sounds like it is coming from all over. What this game needs is a hint button, not audio cues. And the audio cues are always playing even when your not stuck. A hint button would be better, you press it when you need it. It is not automatic.

The rest of the points still stand that I made earlier.

I understand this is this dev's first game and I hate keeping the review negative as they are trying. But I have to be honest in my experiences. I re-purchased this game to give it another go. I will not review this game again in the future as some of my issues are not fixable such as the scenes having no cohesiveness. This is just the design of the game. Some people may not mind the issues I have experienced and will still enjoy the game as it is. This is just my opinions from someone who has played many games in this genre.

I have included a screen-shot to show people what a level looks like. It looks like a menu where you pick a scene to investigate but it is the scene, broken up and all over the place. Chaotic to navigate. This scene alone has about 40 mini artworks to look at. Level example

* No keyboard control. So any roaming around the map is done by mouse. This can get tedious as the areas get larger and larger to explore and the scenes are scattered all over and not one cohesive scene

* When you find the cats they will slightly move to show they have been found. What would have worked better is for them to stay high-lighted or grey out.

* Very limited features. The game is meant for a smaller resolution so resize your window, zoom out and you
will see a gear icon at the bottom left on the main menu. The only things changeable are audio and full or windowed.

Can you spot all 600+ meowing cats on this huge map? It's not as easy as it sounds...believe me!

When you find the cats they will wiggle and stay that way to show you they have been found. There are hints?? But the hints are audio clues of a cat meowing to let you know somewhere in the big general area is a hidden cat. Having a hint button that you can decide when you need help and press it at your convenience would be a nice addition instead. Then it could show you closer to where you need to go and would be more beneficial. My suggestions are: Get rid of the running water sound so we can enjoy the wonderful music. Also when I click on a scene, sometimes it takes me to a different one. When you get further into it, some of the scenes start getting smaller and hard to see. Seems like a big map with lots of cute kitties to find. Sit back and take your time and enjoy it all!

Developer states (on Oct 19,2023) he will quickly add cat hints, increase the zoom level, and enhance the display effects of cats that have been found. On Oct 23rd, he quickly had made updates: increased the zoom level, added audio hints when there are unfound cats within the current game window, a cat's meow will serve as an audio hint and he fixed some other issues. Cat Hints could use more improvement still. I do applaud his efforts to quickly fix things right away!

I thought I found a game breaking bug on level 18. But I was MISTAKEN! If you look right above the paw (above picture) and see a cat in a small boat, it moves when I click on it but stops moving when I stop. I hear meows around that area. It was NOT a bug! I just needed to go over to the left a few scenes and crazy click to find it by accident. Also the game could use some more improvement with the cat hints though. And also when I click on a scene, sometimes it takes me to a different one. Some of the later levels (level 18 for example) could use more zoom time as they are too small to see the details clearly. Level 24 could use some polish, when I click it, it moves me to the other side of the map making it hard to see or click on.

Final Thoughts:
This one can be a little tough, so take your time and you should be able to find them all. I think...Maybe. Well, good luck finding them all! I found them all an I'm very proud of myself! Adorable game to occupy your time with cute, meowing cats. Seems like a big undertaking for the price. Price is reasonable for all that you get. Don't let this one fool ya by looking at the cats in plain sight and think it will be a snap to do this. It's not as easy at it looks, those darn cats are very good at hiding.

Keks- und knackig gesagt...

...sehr süßes Wimmelbildspiel mit Kätzchen. Viele Reviews kritisieren, daß es keine Hilfe gibt. Man hört allerdings ein leises Miauen, wenn man in die Nähe einer klickbaren Katze kommt... das hilft und da das Spiel nicht nur süß daherkommt, sondern auch knackig mit den versteckten kleinen Wegelagerern, sehr gut gemacht mit diesem Anhaltspunkt.

Das Spiel am besten mit Keksen genießen!

...very cute hidden object game with kittens. Many reviews criticize that there is no help button. However, you hear a quiet meow when you get close to a clickable cat... that helps and since the game is not only cute, but also crisp with the hidden little highwaymen, very well done with this clue.

Französische Brioche, die Beste :D

Zutaten

500 g Mehl
60 g Zucker
60 g Butter
1 Ei
225 ml lauwarme Milch
1 Prise Salz
1 Pck. Trockenhefe
1 Eigelb
4 EL Hagelzucker

Zubereitung

Mehl, Zucker und die Trockenhefe miteinander verrühren. Food Processor anstellen, Stufe 2 - 3 reicht völlig. Lauwarme Milch und das Ei hinzugeben, die Butter in kleine Stücke schneiden und ebenfalls hinzugeben, sowie das Salz nicht vergessen. Alles 20 Minuten kneten lassen, nicht weniger!
Den Teig 1 Stunde an einem warmen Ort gehen lassen, anschließend nochmals 3 Minuten kneten.

Den Teig in eine Brioche- oder Kastenform geben. Man kann den Teig auch in 3 Teile teilen und einen kleinen Zopf flechten und dann in die Kastenform legen. Den Teig in der Form nochmals 1 Stunde gehen lassen, dann mit Eigelb bepinseln und mit dem Hagelzucker bestreuen.

Ca. 35 - 40 Minuten im vorgeheizten Backofen bei 150 °C Ober-/Unterhitze auf der mittleren Schiene backen.

Am besten schmeckt die Brioche mit Butter und selbstgemachter Marmelade.

The best french Brioche

Ingredients

500g flour
60g sugar
60g butter
1 egg
225 ml of lukewarm milk
1 pinch of salt
1 pack of dry yeast
1 egg yolk
4 tbsp granulated sugar

Preparation

Mix the flour, sugar and dry yeast together. Turn on the food processor, level 2 - 3 is sufficient. Add lukewarm milk and the egg, cut the butter into small pieces and add it too, and don't forget the salt. Let everything knead for 20 minutes, no less!
Let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, then knead for another 3 minutes.

Place the dough in a brioche or loaf pan. You can also divide the dough into 3 parts and braid a small braid and then place it in the loaf pan. Let the dough rise in the mold for another hour, then brush it with egg yolk and sprinkle with the granulated sugar.

Bake for approx. 35 - 40 minutes in the preheated oven at 150 °C top/bottom heat on the middle rack.

The brioche tastes best with butter and homemade jam.
