I'm usually not a fan of games with white backgrounds but this is still a really good game. I have not found all the cats, they got me stumped. *Took me 17 hours to finally get all achievements :-P
Finding Cats In Town

What players are saying
580 cats to find is way too many, not helped by that the art style for them is inconsistent and that they can be hidden behind scenery, without any indication that the object in question is moveable. The balloons are mildly annoying in this, but the worst are the ferns, smoke, and clothes, some of which require multiple clicks before the cat is revealed. Asides from the far too big picture and hidden elements, the music is soothing, and I encountered no bugs. The game also seems to provide some help in that you hear a cat mewing if one is in the view port, which goes away once they have all been found, but because of how absurdly large the image is this is of limited help even on maximum zoom. Only get this one if you are committed to completing it for a relatively long time.
Hidden Cats in Town has a map that is too big for its own good, and the 580 cats should've been split into different levels instead. It gets confusing with a map as big as this one, especially when you have to re-check the map for cats you overlooked earlier. When I first saw how many cats needed to be found, I was hoping it wasn't all in one big image, but to my disappointment, you have to find all in this one big mess of a city. Some cats are easy to be found, while for others you have to click and interact with objects to get the cat to appear, and these objects are not always obvious things, so it's not easy to guess where a cat might be hidden and you have to click like a maniac to MAYBE get a curtain or laundry to move. Other games have solved that better with parts that ended up being colored, or with split levels for example. The art is ok, but some of the cats look weirdly shaped and that just gives me a feeling that it came to this due to laziness.
