Not sure what some reviews are on about, i read those and came in expecting the game to be a p2w mess. But it gets surprisingly deep with classes/sublcasses and pets and you don't really need to buy anything it's just some qol stuff (no double speed, double dmg like some idlers) which you can eventually get all of it with the ingame premium currency you earn (you get it from a few different mechanics daily). Also i like that you don't have to keep the game on and offline progress is as good as having it open, it's pretty annoying in some idlers when you are forced to leave the game running to progress.
There is no vertical depth for the main game but it scattered around mini games horizontally. To make it worse you are forced to play those half-baked mini games on a daily basis. In simple terms this is a daily chore more than an idle game.
Edited 4/10/24: The recent patch notes mention an update to the autosave. I am not going to revisit the game to verify it works.
Enjoyable game, however, You should not play Cycle Idle RPG until it is updated to include an auto-save.
Loss of power or game crash will lose all of your progress since the last time you saved. This is unacceptable in a game with a cash shop. If a player spends real money in their game, and the game crashes, that money is gone.
I have no problem supporting cash shops in Free to Play games. I have a large problem with losing $10 of purchased in game currency due to lack of an auto-save.
Fixed an overflow error with Oq favor Fixed an overflow error with blessing pointns Fixed an overflow error with elixir levels Blessing cost reduction will now show up to 4 significant digits Added a note in the arena how to play about how some elixirs don't work at all if the potency to nullification ratio is very low
Singularity battles have additional scaling past at fights 100+ to keep stat growth from blowing up. You can no longer advance time in a rest area. Increased the maximum possible health for enemies in the arena. Increased the maximum amount of RP that can be harvested from a Shrimpocampus. The "looking for enemy" window will no longer appear if accelerated healing keeps you from looking for an enemy.
