I wanted to like this, but the documentation -- which is required -- doesn't work correctly, it doesn't lay things out in a sensible way to start with, and in order to get even the most basic thing going I had to restart the game multiple times. It's also hardcore mode by default.

This was *way* too early for release. This crosses the line from acceptable jank to just plain broken.

I really hope they can get things into a better state eventually, because there's bones here, but right now... I can't recommend this in good conscience.

To give some idea of how busted this is, the introduction includes references to how to write it in the Class method... before actually introducing what a Class *is*.

I think this game has a little bit of work before it's quite ready for general use. As a professional programmer, I struggled to get things to work. After some time searching for help, I found somebody said something about restarting the game. I did so and things started working. The code editor shows there are issues with the code, but the code still runs. Sometimes.

The code editor should just "work" out of the box. If the dev can get the interface between code and game to work smoothly without issue, that would go a LONG way to making this game more fun and accessible.

Having said that, the concept is great, and I encourage the dev to keep at it. I will not be refunding my purchase as I think the concept has merit and the dev appears to be actively working on improving the game. If you don't mind spending time to get things working, you might enjoy this now. Otherwise, you might wait for a few patches and check it out after that.

First impressions after a few hours of gameplay and coding.
The game concept is great. You can write c# to partially or fully automate your bot. You can eventually create large parties. There appears to be some sort of network multiplayer feature in the works. With offline multiplayer existing currently? (Haven't touched any of that yet).
You appear to be able to play manually as well, which would be fun with like an entourage of bots following you around.
Writing the code itself is simple. But following the documentation is admittedly kind of a nightmare right now. I wish the dev had polished that up before releasing, but it's a Christmas gift as far as I'm concerned, so I'm not one to complain about that. There are bugs/glitches present. "RunAroundInArea()" didn't even work on my first character because he spawned in a place that wasn't a defined area. Someone else on discord lost a character to some unfinished abyss.
All of these negative points I would normally hold against the creator, but we're in version 0.2. This is an alpha, I imagine it will get fleshed out over time and the dev seems genuinely interested in making the game playable first, with the only hint at monetization being a "double your xp and gold" type of freemium model. The game will still play the same either way, just progress comes at a price. Many of these negative reviews seem unhinged and based in misunderstanding and confusion. Which I suppose is fair. The documentation and the overall player direction seems to be lacking. But I was interested enough in the concept and surprised by the quality of the game itself that I took the time to make sure I understood what was going on until I had a grasp on the game.
Summary: It's a pretty cool game. Great foundation. Buggy/glitchy version 0.2. Poorly documented, but workable. Labor of love developer. This is a niche game for logic addicts and not a filthy casual experience. I'm enjoying my time with it.
