Legends of Dragaea strips away active dungeon crawling in favor of automated combat, where you assemble a team across six races, allocate skills from a classless system, and manage guild operations while the game fights endless floors. The appeal depends entirely on your tolerance for hands-off progression with minimal tactical input—think screensaver with loot rather than engaging idle game.

I played both parts of the beta versions and finished the endless floors up to floor 999 so i have completed the game, If I had to summarise this game it would be “Braindead and too easy even on the hardest difficulty settings" Theres no challenge and Its not worth the 10 dollars that it will cost to play it when there are so many other higher quality idle games out there such as melvor idle and lootun (There are lots of others too but i wont bother listing them here) This game is overpriced compared to other idle games because it will cost between 2-3x more than other similar games and it does not come close in quality or depth so i recommend avoiding legends of dragaea and spending your money somewhere else because even if the game was 50% off its still not worth buying.

27th of october edit: I saw some ridiculous comments in the discord server just before i left it so let me clear something up for anyone wondering "Why did they keep playing for 667 hours if they didnt like the game?" Its because its not really 667 hours, Its around 20 real time hours because you barely even interact with the game. Why would anyone include afk hours in a idle game? lol.

28th of october edit: After i left the discord server one of my friends in there has been keeping me up to date on the situation, avoid the discord server if you dont want to be harassed/attacked for having valid criticism about a game, 3 wierdos in there tried scraping my steam profile for information about me in an attempt to dox me or harm me in other ways, one of them even tried adding me on different platforms and they also left several messages in a group that i own for another game.

29th, 30th and 31st of october edit: The dev deleted all 87 comments about me In the discord server on the 29th and 30th (That Includes their own comments and even my friends comments) Then when a bunch of fresh comments about my review starting showing up on the 30th and 31st of october again the dev tried to play it off like im mentally ill (If you look at my post history and reviews you can see theres nothing wrong with my mental health and im not mentally ill at all) I should have taken screenshots during the days first days with the 87 comments but i didnt because i didnt think it would go this far over some game feedback.

I dont have any information on the internet that can be used to dox me but if someone else does then nothing is going to stop these people from doing that to someone else just because they dont like what you have to say about a game, when the devs response is to delete comments, blame the victim of attempted doxing then double down by lying about it so why would you risk joining the discord server?

The review comments are being disabled because people who never saw what happened have left untruthful comments about the situation, the dev can either reply to me here (Because they stlll have the ability too) or add me to discuss it but they wont because they know they are in the wrong and while i dont personally care you should not beta test games for them because beta keys were promised to everyone who helped test the betas by playing it and giving feedback which i did and i still didnt get one (Not that i would want it anymore after what has happened but thats not the point! It was never even offered to me in the first place)

For anyone wondering why i own the game, I did not buy it! The dev was meant to give everyone who helped in the betas a game key but they refused to give me one after all of this happened so my friend that i mentioned earlier in this review let me have their beta key instead because they have no intention of playing the game after what happened.

It didn't really do anything for me.

I mean, it's not a bad game, but it's not a very good one either. There's nothing to do. There are no stakes, nothing. It's a wallpaper simulator with some basic choices. I can't even describe it as chill because it doesn't even do anything for me, it's just there.

Here's my problem; the game starts off with a solid premise, but all of the systems sort of... Fall flat. For example; you can hire more recruits; but I'm not invested in this game enough to wait for the pay-off. 4 dungeons deep and its still the first 3, so there's no point in hiring them until you're further in the game so you can find better recruits with way higher stats and higher levels.

The gear system is kind of... Convoluted. The stats/gear create this sort of... almost anti-pattern, where your character might discover really good gear early on and then everything is just a downgrade from there on out. Tons of loot, a few upgrades here or there. Unless you plan on memorizing about 2 dozen stats per character, and another dozen secondary stats from the item system; you can't really do anything but hit "wear best" after every run. It's utterly pointless.

There's a brief wall of difficulty right as you start the game, then once you unlock speed multipliers you can literally just do a few x3-x10s, level up the dungeon's rates. Then hit 50x. After that just 50x anything else in the game, leave it in the background and forget its even on. Except... There's nothing satisfying to come back to.

It's just not fun. No "number goes up" satisfaction. No difficulty wall to overcome. Just low poly animated wallpaper lol. I wouldn't get this, it barely does its job as an idler or an auto-battler. Check out Tower Wizard or Magic Research 2, much more satisfying. Lootun as well felt more engaging despite being 2D. If you're really into idlers I suggest downloading google play games (beta) and downloading some 4.X star games that are 100x more polished and have way greater depth. I'd say this game is worth.... $2.

Do you like Wizardry, but wish most of the effort was taken out of it, it was turned into an auto-battler, and made into a preem screensaver? Have I got great news for you!

This is that game. It's an on-the-rails first person monster slayer that does most of the work for you. Your responsibilities include assembling a team, deciding their skills, and outfitting them in all the sweet loot you'll be collecting. Then you send them to run some more dungeons, collect more loot, gain more skill, and do it all over.

Not everybody is into idlers and auto-battlers, but if you are, this is a great choice.
