Multiverse Loot Hunter sends you across thematic planes—fantasy, historical, martial arts, magical, and sci-fi—collecting characters, equipment, and power-ups through idle grinding and combat. The game layers character collection, crafting systems, and parallel progression tracks with tech trees and class upgrades, rewarding both active play and offline gains. It's best suited for players who tolerate rough translations in exchange for mechanically solid idle gameplay with an inventive multiverse framework.

NETWORK MANIPULATION WARNING
The game itself is a neat idle game, I don't even mind the poor translation, but it is absolutely running some background process that is untoward. Not only does it take up an alarming amount of CPU/RAM processing--which I initially chalked up to poor coding, not uncommon in idle games--but when I went to log into World of Warcraft while it was running, it loaded Taiwanese servers and wouldn't let me switch. Closing the game/uninstalling did not change this after re-loading, but restarting my PC (and thus my network) let me log back into the NA servers.
Something in this game, I can conclude, changes your network routing. For what purpose I'm not sure. But I was reminded of another review that said something about bitcoin mining. I can't confirm one way or another, but I'm running every scan and precaution I can now. If you've played this game I suggest you do the same.
Key UI elements were not translated, so you can only guess what is being asked of you, or you have to translate it yourself in a cumbersome way. It’s very unfortunate that many Chinese companies are still not willing to provide proper translations.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/4267800/_/ Hello everyone! We're thrilled to announce that: Bandit Simulator TD is officially set to launch on Steam on October 12, 2026! Compared to the demo version, we've made massive changes and will be adding plenty of new content and gameplay features! In this edition, we're covering a major rework: Stronghold Defense & City Walls. City Challenge Mode Overhauled One of the most common complaints from our previous playtest was: Enemies in the city wave challenge would circle around the map. When they wandered out of our defensive range, players were forced to drag their units into an awkward "chase" — which added unnecessary mental burden and tedious micro-management. It was genuinely frustrating! We've now reworked the City Challenge into a proper Siege Mode: Enemies now have actual siege capabilities. They will charge straight toward your stronghold walls and, upon reaching them, begin attacking the walls directly. This change ensures enemies will concentrate at your walls instead of wandering all over the map. You only need to position your units near the walls — units that can both defend the fortifications and idle-farm loot from passersby — for a comfortable idle experience while still handling challenges. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45936264/8062702002f72620f3d8e9d33831e3be55b898cd.png Fun New Mechanics: Defend & Repair Walls We've also expanded the crafting/skill system. You can now assign characters with strong building abilities to repair walls mid-battle. This "fight while repairing" dynamic adds tons of excitement and tension to the late game. Upgrading, advancing, and constructing walls also adds a whole new strategic dimension to base building. And we're not stopping here — we plan to expand this system further with even more intense modes like massive siege assaults and beast-tide survival. These will greatly enrich the overall gameplay experience. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45936264/b3e7b0940a8640679e011d36d1300377884ce1bc.png ...

Compared to the demo version, we've made massive changes and will be adding plenty of new content and gameplay features! In this edition, we'd like to introduce a new gameplay mechanic: Appointment & Duty System This is the stronghold's position assignment system. You can freely choose who gets to be the bandit chief or take charge of a specific branch. {STEAM_CLAN_IMAGE}/45936264/b4ebae4ce583614c114e066392bcc88f49bbe0ab.png Targeted Character Skill Development Leverage the attributes of the character with the strongest skills, allowing their strengths to benefit the entire stronghold. Game Introduction TL;DR Keywords: Tower Defense TD + Base Building + Idle Clicker = Addictive & Satisfying This is a simple game that combines "Tower Defense Combat + Base Building + Idle/Clicker" mechanics. The game simulates the development of an ancient bandit stronghold. Combat is based on Tower Defense mechanics, paying homage to (and blending with) several classic genre masterpieces (like the Warcraft RPGs Bandit TD, Element TD, Immortal Simulator, etc.). We've refined and simplified these concepts, combining them with idle/clicker gameplay to deliver an experience that is both "satisfyingly addictive" and "simple and relaxing." Every character acts as a fixed tower. They don't move on their own. Whether it's combat, gathering, or crafting, everything is carried out through Tower Defense mechanics. If you enjoy Xiao Mang's games, please be sure to Follow & Wishlist—it really helps the game survive and thrive! https://store.steampowered.com/app/4267...
