Boink is a fun little idle game that is nice to have in the background. Sometimes people just like to do a simple task and watch numbers go up, and Boink really nails the satisfaction of getting big numbers. Need to play the game more to see what this rebirth stuff is about, but so far I am having a good time and would recommend!

TL;DR - Game is a failure of an incremental/idle game and offers nothing but tedium and frustration past the first reset. No offline progression means you have to keep the game running to get anywhere but fails to make it worth doing. Even as a lover of all things Incremental/idle, I can't recommend this to anyone in it's current state. ---------------- Don't let my play time fool you, this game has almost no content. Progression is so slow that leaving the game running at all times is really the only way to advance. The meta-progression currency, attained by restarting/prestige-ing/rebirthing is capped at 50 points per restart, Granted, you can spend prestige points to upgrade this, but that then leaves you without points to spend on much else. It's just a needless roadblock in a game that doesn't have enough content to stretch out. The game offers a few bumpers but realistically you'll only be using 3 of them. Additive, Multiplicative, and Anti-Gravity. Unfortunately, placing said bumpers is the most frustratingly tedious and finicky thing I've ever had to do. No grid snap, no layout, just pixel perfect placement with no way to zoom in to get finer control. Couple that with the upgrade to your game area size and the game basically begs you to stop playing. Last, and worst in my mind, is the fact that there is no end game or even any game play change-up. The first prestige is the same as the second, the third, the tenth... just with slightly bigger numbers. This wouldn't be so bad if you could amass points faster to speed you along but the game increases the cost of the Boink points as you earn them, meaning you progress at almost the exact same speed every round, just with bigger numbers. The game is frustratingly slow, needlessly tedious, insanely devoid of content, and lacking in any hooks to keep you interested past a round or two. I'm an avid fan of Incremental and Idle game, but this just fails on all fronts.

EDIT 2: They pretty much fixed everything I didnt like so thumbs up devs! One fix I would like to see, its not total amount of money made, its how much is saved so the game encourages you to not spend money to rebirth which is a bit counter productive. Change it so its just money earned overall so you dont have billions just sitting there doing nothing.... EDIT: Im changing it to recommended because I am enjoying the game.
