TLDR: The f2p experience is miserable.

I've been with the game since the first steam version launched and had a decent time playing through the game. Sure as a f2p player you'd get things slower but as the game also gradually added more content to the antimatter store you didn't really feel the "gap" to the whales that badly.

Now with the big bang update, all the EARNED antimatter (premium currency) is reset and you'll get back a measly 200k. Which sounds like a lot, but barely gets you anything. Yes you get some from quests/supernovas (top heavy so scraps early game) and yes there is a daily code (800 a day)/discord codes (~30k ish). But I already did that grind the first time around. And as almost all the quality of life is in the antimatter store, the game feels like absolute garbage when you lose all that.

On top of that the antimatter store with the big bang update gets a new page added, where the upgrades that are currently available alone cost over 400k+ antimatter. So not only do you get reset, you're also shown another huge paywall.

Then there is the massive art downgrade. Going from decent AI art with which the game started with to whatever this cartoony licence free AI art is supposed to be. Another massive fail in my opinion.


Unless you plan on spending large amounts of money(hundreds), don't bother as you will be spending months of time in stead only to get reset to close to 0 once you hit big bang. After months of waiting this update just feels like a slap in the face.
