A minimalist clicker where pressing a button increments a counter while developer commentary unfolds. The remaster brings the original's absurdist concept to modern systems, though early players report stability issues and incomplete features. Best suited for those who appreciate conceptual art games and don't mind rough edges.

What players are saying

▼ Not recommended 8 hrs
Wait for the game to be finished.
There are no options.
None.
Zero.

All but two achievements worked as they should.
One of those I didn't waste any time on (Hold the button down for 24 hours.).
The other, reach 1M push/release cycles of the button. It would freeze at some point beyond 750K and be completely non-responsive.

Game is definitely a WIP and not recommended at this time.

Edited for clarity.

My last post was on Friday 13, that must be the problem

You see, March 13th was a Friday.I've made barely any progress on Josh Powlison's BUTTON: Mildly Remastered Edition since then!THAT MUST BE THE REASON.Well, it's now 172 days since then (I asked the internet, math is hard).Which means it's high-time something changes. And the first thing that has to change......is me.But probably after I take a shower.I've identified these 20 things that I need to change, and I hope you'll hold me accountable:1. Do better. Vague enough that it can mean whatever I want on whatever day, so I can either be a constant success or a constant failure, whichever means more to me at the time.2. Post more often. Also vague. Any post is more often than not posting, so anytime I post, I win.3. Update the game. Well, this is also vague. I mean, if I open Unity and then close it again, Unity always marks random files as changed anyway, so that counts too, right?!4. Listen to the fans. I rarely have my ceiling fan on, but I can start there. It's sort of hypnotic though, I might fall asleep.5. Listen to the critics. Just the inner critic though, the outer ones are too scary.6. Eat better. Better what though? Better pizza? Also vague enough that I can make it work.7. Exercise more. Exercise more what though? Pizza?8. Get better at finishing lists. What is "done" though? Is "done" partway still "done"? There's a REASON a "rare steak" is still considered "correctly done" even if not "well done", after all! Maybe my updates are just like rare steaks instead of like burnt ones.9. The other 11 things. I've learned from #8.What do you think? Can you hold me accountable to these? I sure can't!But that's what makes our community special....it's indescribable. But It's palpable. It's palpably indescribable. Now let's go make better games. But keep them rare.Euphorically yours,Josh PowlisonCreator of Josh Powlison's BUTTON: Mildly Remastered Edition

I'm sorry. But I know you'll forgive me.Because I fixed it. By undoing my fixes. And I'll fix it again.Sincerely, Josh Powlison Creator of Josh Powlison's BUTTON: Mildly Remastered Edtion

Thought you'd like a dad joke.Cuz I'm dad....it's in the header. If you didn't see it yet, that means you missed it.But that doesn't mean you missed me.Maybe emotionally, but not literally.Anyway, here's the link to the official TikTok.
