About This Game

Incremental physics based game about pushing levers, clicking buttons and coming to terms with obsession.

Really cool take on the incremental game genre, very tactile and satisfying in the moment to moment gameplay in a way that really tickles my brain. flipping levers and tweaking doodads of increasing complexity all while gradually spinning more and more plates is a great way to just kinda lose yourself in the rhythm of the machine. all that without mentioning the cold, eerie, dreamlike ambiance and vibes the game steeps you in. still not done with it yet but looking forward to working my way through all this has to offer. Proud to be here before this inevitably blows up as one of the bigger sleeper hits of this year (at least it is in my opinion), and looking forward to following these devs for whatever lies in their future.

I think this game has truly expertly woven the ideas it's trying to convey to you into the game play. I once uttered to myself, after reading a message on the computer, "Oh! I need to go see my friend! (IN GAME NOT IRL I'M NOT THAT ♥♥♥♥♥♥ UP YET)"... only to spend the next five or ten minutes still tending to the machine. Going to see your friend is maybe a three minute affair... And I couldn't spare three minutes for my only friend? A lot of these games, incremental 'idlers' (this mf is not an idler) prey on that 'one more thing!' that video games of this day and age are all too excited to exploit. I think this is the only game that illustrated that, yeah, you are being preyed on. Are you okay with that? If you enjoyed yourself did it matter? Did it matter if you didn't? Sorry about your dad.

A nice little metaphorical game about
addiction to a hobby and how it slowly changes you. At first was expecting the game to be a metaphor about OCD with all of the little things you have to do and deal with, but it does quite much seem that it is a metaphor for being a shut-in and hobbyist spaces completely taking over your life.
Starts simple and gets more and more complicated with every machine you add to the main machine - at first the workload becomes more overwhelming the further you go in, but as time goes on you get automation upgrades as well as movement upgrades that allow you to deal with everything far quicker and far easier. Furthermore, the actual moment to moment gameplay is simple, fun and compelling. The actual mechanics turn out to be really simple but engaging enough that I will want to go back to it after some time. The horror elements seem very light, but I only got one ending so far so perhaps the game gets a bit more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up as time goes on.
