Fishing Tale offers a straightforward catch-and-sell loop across three locations, where you reel in over 40 fish species and invest earnings into upgrades that boost speed, accuracy, and catch rarity. The pixel art and ambient soundtrack create a relaxing experience for players seeking low-pressure downtime, though the core mechanics are simple enough that engagement may plateau without regular updates or expanded content.

Very simple and chill game. You catch and sell fish at 3 different locations and are able to purchase upgrades to improve speed, accuracy, rarity of fish, etc. Because of the simplicity of the game, it does get stale pretty quickly, but as a first title from the developer I enjoy the cute pixel graphics and always love a calming fishing game.
As far as complaints, I think a lot of things could be improved with the effectiveness of the upgrades. Even after purchasing upgrades the fishing process doesn't seem to have much of a notable change. Another complaint would be that the achievements are very much grindy. For such a simple game with a very repetitive game play, an achievement like catch 10,000 fish is kinda insane. I've played for 11hrs at the time of this review and am still at only 700 something fish caught. To have to play this game for close to 100hrs to get 1 achievement seems pretty outlandish.
Overall, I do recommend the game, it is simple and easy for players of all skill and age and has calming atmosphere and graphics. I'd look forward to see what the developer will do to expand this game in future updates.
After some consideration and multiple hours of grinding for fish. I do seem to enjoy the simplicity of the game, A great game to relax and catch some fish in your off time. Looking forward to updates and will continue to update my reviews as they come out. Can't want to see what comes of the game!
A plus for the music as well, had it playing in the background for a bit and i did not regret it.
I like the Game but there are still some Problems I see. First of all it seems like I cant catch the last Fish or any Shoes. Also there is an Achievment to collect trash. I did not find a single piece of trash so far. And the "Catch 1000 Fish" Achievment is a bit high I think. But thats just my opinion.
If the trash problem is solved I will change my review to a positve one
Edit: Thanks for the quick feedback. As promised, the Review is now positive^^
