IdleTale combines clicker mechanics with RPG progression, letting you accumulate gold through combat and passive generation while offline. You'll unlock talent trees, gear your character through dungeon exploration, and work toward ascension resets. Best for players who enjoy traditional incremental games with equipment and leveling systems, though note that offline gains and unfocused-window progression are reportedly limited compared to active play.

Ignore the negative review with .6 hours, his parents are most likely siblings, the game has much more mechanics, leveling up, gear, new areas, dungeons & raids, and more. Some people like to launch a game, look at the things they first see and leave a negative review. Which doesn't make much sense to me. Give it a try yourself, it's free with no microtransactions and its a fun idle game.

A: It's not idle
B: Dev doesn't fix bugs or listen to players

Only try if you want to play another game where the dev is actively against the player, treats the player like an enemy and forgets that the goal of a game is to make it fun.

I hate to put a thumbs down on a small creator like this. But I feel it necessary because this game breaks one of the core tenets of idle games, it doesn't give even close to the same progress if you close the game. It also gives less progress if you don't have the game window focused and constantly either clicking in it or holding your mouse down.

IdleTale is finally an IDLE GAME! (jokes aside)

Yeah, jokes aside. There has been a lot of controversy with the game's title and the actual idle aspect of the game. Aside from my usual reasoning of wanting to slow everything down until more updates are released in order to not run out of content in a day or two, I always liked having a semi-idle semi-active game, and that was what I was aiming for. Nevertheless, made the wrong choice of actually naming it IDLE-Tale, which brought a lot of lovers of the idle genre to try this game out. A lot of content has been added since I made that decision a year ago. So it's finally time for the game to actually have proper idle gains! Patch notes: -Changing map zones will also change the Codex page automatically -Offline Gold gains are now the same as online gains (was 50%). -Offline Glory gains have been increased by 100%. -Offline XP gains have been increased by 500% (yes, it's not wrong) -Fixed a visual bug that would display twice as much the actual Redemption level -Fixed a typo bug in the Executioner Glory Upgrade's description. An "e" has been removed from the code forever.

It'll have some functions in the future like changing the screen size or maybe allowing for saving different games. Who knows. -I'm still working in the server for IdleTale, that's part of the reason of why it's taking so damn long to get updates. I won't lie, there's many other things going on. But that's another one. And I'll try to have it ready as soon as possible.
