Week Four: New Player Town Shops, Grand Expeditions, and Endless ChallengesWeek four brings two new Player Town services, our first Grand Expedition, and two endless modes for your party to take on.New Player Town Shops and ServicesBruce Hayden’s Training Grounds lets you train up to three reserve recruits while you play, helping them catch up with your main character.Vivian Skybound’s Bounty Merchant offers exclusive weapons, armour, accessories, and tools. Earn Bounty Marks in Grand Expeditions, Pinnacles, the Endless Tower, and the Endless Dungeon, then spend them on her rotating stock.Grand Expedition: Moonfen Salvage ReachExplore a new region of wetlands and memorial ruins, with new enemies, fishing, scrounging, and a chance to find Exalted equipment with bonus tiers.Grand Expedition passes support one-, two-, four-, and eight-hour runs, with up to eight modifiers revealed only after entry. There is no early return, and recruits can die permanently. Bring food, potions, and a party ready to last until extraction. The Endless TowerUnlocked at main-character level 50, the Tower sends your party through procedurally generated floors themed around the eight expedition worlds. Clear enemies, defeat bosses, collect treasure, and ascend automatically. Enemy levels stay within your chosen range, making the Tower a place to hunt for equipment and aurels while training abilities and proficiencies rather than character levels. The Endless DungeonUnlocked at main-character level 100, the Dungeon takes you into procedurally generated caves with Normal, Hard, and Hell difficulties. Every floor has a boss, every tenth floor brings a Guardian, and enemy levels rise as you descend. Dungeon activity also grants 50% more ability and proficiency experience. Both endless modes now include themed decorations, end-of-run summaries, and bonus Bounty Marks for cleared floors and defeated Guardians. A defeated party is rescued alive, with earned rewards retained.Ten-Day Steam Sale Starts S...
Builds 0.763-0.764 Expand your Player Town, earn exclusive equipment with Bounty Marks, and descend into the new Endless Dungeon. Towers and Dungeons also gain themed decorations, run summaries, and additional rewards for your progress. Training Grounds - Added Bruce Hayden’s Training Grounds, with room to train three reserve recruits at once. - Purchase training for 1,000 aurels per level, up to your main character’s level. Each level takes one hour and awards normal level-up attribute points and trait milestones. - Training continues while your campaign is open, including in High Anchorage, menus, and expeditions. There is no offline training. - Moving a trainee into the active party pauses their course. Cancelling refunds only unfinished levels; completed levels and their progress are retained. Specialty Merchant - Added Vivian Skybound’s Specialty Merchant and Bounty Marks. Marks can be earned in Grand Expeditions, Towers, Dungeons, and Pinnacle encounters, but not ordinary expeditions. - Added a B.Marks counter and currency icon to High Anchorage, between aurels and keys. - Vivian offers 12 Epic items at a time from 61 shop-exclusive equipment bases with new artwork, including the Skybound Survey, Wayfarer’s Recovery, and Vaultkeeper’s Burden armor collections, plus weapons, accessories, and tools. - Her equipment includes exclusive modifiers for extra enemy equipment, extra chest equipment, increased enemy crafting materials, or improved rare-material Scrounging chances. - Stock refreshes every 30 minutes of campaign-open time, or immediately for 1,000 aurels. Purchases can go to Shared Inventory or Town Stash. - Owned merchant gear supports applicable tier upgrades, tempering, and rerolls. Disenchantment teaches eligible ordinary affixes; shop-exclusive bases and modifiers remain exclusive to Vivian. - Both new town services follow the existing NPC discovery and establishment requirements: 500 aurels plus materials from their associated expedition. Builds 0.761–0.762 Two new ways to challenge your party: Grand Expeditions for long, preparation-heavy adventures, and Endless Tower for improving equipment and proficiencies without gaining character levels. Grand Expeditions - Added Moonfen Salvage Reach, the first Grand Expedition, combining Greenveil’s overgrown wilderness with Glassmoon’s memorial ruins and equipment pools. - Unlocks at main-character level 100 after defeating the first four Pinnacle bosses. - Bosses can now drop Grand Expedition Passes for 1, 2, 4, or 8 hours of active expedition time. - Each attempt selects an arrival from six portal locations, with three randomly selected exits. Personal return portals are unavailable; after the timer expires, your party seeks a reachable open exit. - New attempts roll 1–8 hidden expedition modifiers, revealed after entry. Normal permanent recruit-death rules still apply, so food, potions, and equipment preparation matter. - Added a preparation warning before consuming a pass, with a remembered “Don’t show me this message again” option. - Moonfen includes 150 roaming packs, 10 new enemy identities, 60 chests, 60 Scrounging spots, and 20 Fishing spots, with increased roaming boss and Guardian chances. - Added new Bestiary entries, portal artwork and animations, pass icons, and the combined G.Pass counter. Improved duration selection and level controls, supporting level 100 through ten levels above your main character. Endless Tower - Added Endless Tower, unlocked at main-character level 50, costing 10,000 aurels per run, not per floor. - Procedurally generated floors receive fresh seeds and independently selected themes from all eight ordinary expeditions. Equipment drops match the current floor’s expedition family. - Select enemy levels from 1 through your main character’s level +10. That range remains fixed throughout the run. - Each floor contains 16 ordinary packs, four chests, and one designated boss, with a 10% chance for that boss to be a Guardian. - E...
