Idle Sphere

Didn't like it. Found out that it uses .encrypted file format. Then found out that that file forma is Crypren Ransomware Encrypted File. That's all I ever need to know...on top of the game being bad.

Could this be a good game? Absolutely. Lots of good stuff from the same developer that brought us Idle Spiral. However, this game has in-app purchase mechanics that I'm fairly sure are illegal in a few countries. Literal gambling. Anything you purchase for real money may actually benefit you 0, except for the starter pack (though some of that is just the Chaos Currency that will still suffer from the same potential 0 gain). Buy Chaos currency. The only place to spend this so far is the Chaos store. Everything in there isn't a purchase, it is a [i]chance[/i] to purchase some thing. In some cases, that chance can get extremely low after you are lucky with the first few [i]chances[/i]. This is a scam, flat out. This is disgusting and absolutely should not exist in any game. This is worse than loot boxes. There is a chance you don't get a good item from a loot box, but at least you still get something. There is a chance in Idle Sphere to get absolutely nothing from your real world cash purchase. This is theft. Steam needs to warn Idle System Inc. and ban them if they do not correct this quickly or ever attempt to do this again. Edit: And they just added a 2nd IAP for $20 which if you do not buy will make you completely unable to compete. As the top 100 get a bonus for one of the top tier currencies in the game, this makes not purchasing the $20 IAP game breaking. These guys are scam artists, and I hope you all see that before you get too invested.

I never do reviews but I'll do this one exception because I'm just dissapointed in this "developer" team. tldr: It's just a quick cash grab 100%. First off, this game has no tutorial or any explanation of game mechanics whatsoever. You are forced to join discord and ask questions about simplest things in the game. All the feedback you give in discord just get thumbs up emote and gets ignored for months. They promised tutorial or help menu or something similar months ago. Nothing happened. With every new update we get same bugs reitroduced into game and it takes them 2+ weeks to even consider fixing it (even simple text on screen bugs). Game itself had potential. Was a fun 2nd screen idler where you do something every few hours. But then you get to end game and there is nothing to do but press this stupid void feature they introduced just to add another line to their "DLC content". DLC is 100% cashgrab. You pay a price of full game to progress faster to NOTHING. Multipliers are beyond confusing in this game. Just a quick example : in cash currency (yeah you can slowly get it ingame but still) shop you have +10% speedup but what it does is its 10% to a BASE speed of 1 so for like 20$ worth of currency you get almost zero progress . Actual scam that has been reported several time still not adressed at all. I could type a lot more scummy and dishonest things they did but at the end of they day people they pray on dont read reviews anyways ... just sad experience overall. and then you get the dev himself admiting that he is clueless about the future of the game. https://prnt.sc/m31TpzEhB_Cw As a final note I highly suggest you stay away from anything these "devs" put on steam or anywhere else.
