Idle Sphere

Didn't like it. Found out that it uses .encrypted file format.
Then found out that that file forma is Crypren Ransomware Encrypted File.

That's all I ever need to know...on top of the game being bad.

Could this be a good game? Absolutely. Lots of good stuff from the same developer that brought us Idle Spiral. However, this game has in-app purchase mechanics that I'm fairly sure are illegal in a few countries. Literal gambling. Anything you purchase for real money may actually benefit you 0, except for the starter pack (though some of that is just the Chaos Currency that will still suffer from the same potential 0 gain).

Buy Chaos currency. The only place to spend this so far is the Chaos store. Everything in there isn't a purchase, it is a chance to purchase some thing. In some cases, that chance can get extremely low after you are lucky with the first few chances.

This is a scam, flat out. This is disgusting and absolutely should not exist in any game. This is worse than loot boxes. There is a chance you don't get a good item from a loot box, but at least you still get something. There is a chance in Idle Sphere to get absolutely nothing from your real world cash purchase. This is theft.

Steam needs to warn Idle System Inc. and ban them if they do not correct this quickly or ever attempt to do this again.

Edit: And they just added a 2nd IAP for $20 which if you do not buy will make you completely unable to compete. As the top 100 get a bonus for one of the top tier currencies in the game, this makes not purchasing the $20 IAP game breaking. These guys are scam artists, and I hope you all see that before you get too invested.

This game sells packs which have a random chance to give you anything. So you can actually spend money and get nothing in return. The developer claims that they have a pity system to get around this. This is not adequate at all. All it does is mean vulnerable people like people with gambling addictions or children will pump more and more into the game on the off chance they might get something, while still having a chance of receiving nothing at all. This is pure gambling. Avoid at all cost.
