Hello explorers! 👋Mars Clicker is taking shape — and there's big newsIt's been a while since the last devlog, but it hasn't been quiet time. A lot has changed under the hood — the core loop feels solid, content keeps growing, and this is the most mature the game has ever been since development started.DEMO — Limited access window, coming soon A time-limited demo is opening soon. This isn't a stripped-down teaser — it's a real slice of the game, designed to give you a genuine taste of what Mars Clicker actually is. Minimum estimated playtime to complete it: 4 hours.GAMEPLAY — First real look Dropping a gameplay clip — no cutscenes, no smoke and mirrors. What you see is what you get. Several hours of content are already in, and the game is feeling really good to play.RELEASE DATE — Being straight with you No date locked in yet, and I'd rather say that upfront than promise something I can't deliver. The demo comes first — your feedback will shape what gets fixed, polished, or rethought before launch. No rush. I want to get it right. Thanks for still being here. 🔴If you want to follow the progress: 👉 Wishlist Mars Clicker on Steam and get notified when the next update lands!
Hello explorers! 👋 Over the past few weeks, I’ve been experimenting a lot with Mars Clicker — testing what feels most fun and satisfying. And after many prototypes, I’ve decided to pivot the gameplay towards a more active, destructive experience.“The new direction draws inspiration from classic idle destruction games like Zombidle — giving every click a satisfying impact.”Instead of simply harvesting crystals, you’ll now be breaking through layers of Martian rock, dealing damage to massive crystal formations, and upgrading your colony to dig deeper and faster. Each hit contributes to your progress, and the deeper you go, the more powerful and mysterious the resources become — from minerals to dark matter. What’s Next?I’m rebuilding some systems to support this new combat-style loop — including damage values, particle effects, and layered destruction animations. Once I have everything stable, I’ll share a short gameplay video showing how this new approach feels in action. If you want to follow the progress: 👉 Wishlist Mars Clicker on Steam and get notified when the next update lands!
Hello explorers!Mars Clicker is finally starting to take shape! What you see in the images below are the initial phase of the colony on Mars and a first approximation of what the final phase will be like, I keep making modifications every time I add new buildings so I don't think it's the final part. So far I have been working mainly with numbers, so the game will support big numbers and all those who are ready to bust the game will have a good time.I still have to confirm the UI, for now I have such a basic one that it's not even worth sharing but soon I will update and you will also see some gameplay, probably on the youtube channel.I've had time to refine the collection of crystals and their conversion to dark matter, although I'm still working on the meta-progress of the game, I'll give more details.
