The Time Traveling Toxicologist

As I like Point & Click adventures with real life photos, this was right down my alley. It's a short adventure with a lot to learn about poisons and their counter measures. As it was free and I was entertained, it gains an instant positive raiting from me.

What I liked:
- the used background photos of lost places and the general atmosphere
- the writing and the voice of the main speaker

What I didn't like as much:
- the audio quality of the female speaker
- interactive objects are mostly instantly recognized because of their different looks and their direction in which they were photographed

This was a fun and educational point-and-click walk through the toxicology background necessary to understand a specific type of poisoning. If the player interacts with all of the objects, the answers should be fairly straightforward, prior medical knowledge or not. I would definitely keep playing if there were stories for every other toxin in the drawer!

I'm giving up early on this one. Found the interface to be frustrating, having to sometimes struggle to disengage the mouse from one object / clue / event before I could tackle another. When I tried to click on the potential poisons to read about them, it kept trying to tell me to close the drawer before I could answer, rather than letting me just click on the next poison. I'm patient with frustration when it's for a reason, but this was basically pointless frustration because getting the mouse / navigation to work was so problematic.

Despite that, I'm giving it a "recommend" because I think the creators are still working on it. If they improve the interface, it could be an interesting game. I don't want to down-vote them and trash their chances of improving and creating a worthwhile game.
