Digseum condenses the incremental formula into a focused 3-hour experience where you excavate ancient artifacts to populate a museum from scratch. The core loop involves digging for relics with satisfying progression scaling that avoids the typical idle game grind, complemented by a fossil-excavation minigame reminiscent of classic Pokemon mechanics. Best suited for players seeking a bite-sized prestige-based clicker with genuine pacing and no time commitment.

I enjoyed the scaling, not every incremental has to be a multi-month slog. it was 3 dollars and I had a few hours of fun with it.

I learned of this game through RCE on YouTube. After watching his ~20 minute video on the game, I immediately purchased it for the very reasonable pricetag of $3 USD. I took me about 3 hours to finish it at a somewhat steady pace without overly rushing the game.

It is a great clicker/idle game where you 'dig' for artifacts for a museum that just opened but has nothing to exhibit. Each relic increases your gold per minute and duplicate relics increase that number further by ranking up the relic. You also have the requisite tool upgrades, unlock a skill tree to progress through and can prestige. It gets a little more complicated as you progress without overwhelming you or requiring a guide.

Highly recommended.

I didn't realize that I wanted the fossil excavating minigame from Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, but here we are. Only real criticism is I'd like an option to skip the results screens after each dig after a certain point; say after the first prestige.
