A festive hidden-object game where you spot cats camouflaged in Christmas scenes across five levels, each containing over 100 cats to find. The main experience is relaxing and brief, though speedrun achievements unlock a harder challenge that demands replaying all levels in just three minutes. Best for casual players seeking a cozy holiday experience rather than those wanting substantial depth or replayability.

Holiday cheer, ultra-light edition

Snowy streets, jingling vibes, and a whole lot of cats pretending to be decorations. This festive hidden cat game is short, sweet, and very much about vibes over challenge. You get 5 levels, each filled with 100–105 cats, and you’ll blink and be done… then blink again because the speedrun achievements ask you to do it all twice if you missed them.

The art is simple but super cute, perfectly on theme for the holidays, and the cozy mood does most of the job here. Sound sliders are included, controllers get vibration support, and you can choose between a relaxed mode or a timed one if you’re feeling spicy. Hints recharge every 30 seconds, don’t mess with achievements (mostly) because you only need to clear a single level hint-free for 100%, which is very chill.

That said, it’s tiny. Really tiny. One full run took me 19 minutes, and going back to grab all achievements bumped it to about 32 thanks to mandatory speedrun achievements for every level. There’s also no save system mid-level, so quitting means restarting, and the zoom feels a bit inconsistent from one map to the next. The forced tutorial is a bit annoying too, especially since you’re required to use a hint because some cats are hidden behind the on-screen instructions no matter how much you zoom. And with the lack of brightness options, it really adds up.

Still, as a quick festive experience, it does the job. It’s cheerful, harmless, and very good at flipping the “holiday mode” switch in your brain. More worthwhile to grab if it's on a heavy discount.

If you’re in the mood for more snowy cat-hunting, Hidden Cats in Christmas and Hidden Winter Things offer a similar cozy sparkle with a bit more content for your buck.

If You expect to get a nice relaxing Cat game, You are NOT. After I was done with the game I realized that I missed some Achievement. I forgot to check the Achievement before I stared the game. Well.. They have Speed run Achievements, You have to replay all 5 levels in under 3 minutes. I have now played the first level for about 20 time with an Auto clicker, mostly I did it in 6 min. only once I did it in 3::25, so I give up.
I don't recommend this game, Stay far away!

Overall Experience

I think this game is charming and I really enjoyed the other game also made by AGE Zero called Tiny Cats. I am not a fan of timed achievements so those are a bit of a shortcoming for me as I play these games for a relaxing experience but for some the timed mode is a highlight.

I tried the timed mode and got by all the levels and while doable it was honestly not overly enjoyable. Just frustrating. They only give you 3 minutes, if they rounded it up to 5 then it would not be as stressful. Also do not rely on the purrs to find the cats, it just tells you a cat is in the vicinity but is not highly accurate.

Still the price is nice and the artwork is adorable. All the cats look like cats and none are just a tail sticking up or squiggles. For those versed in this genre you know what I mean when I say this. A festive find to keep the Christmas spirit rolling in the new year. 🐈
